"Exceptional! I cannot say enough about this company, their work ethics, installations, kindness & politeness. From the first phone call into the office to the final day of the installation it was an actual pleasure doing business with Absolute. Byron & his expertise/knowledge are far above & beyond what you might expect. He didn't try to pressure sell nor did he try to sell us anything we did not actually need. I would hire Absolute again without question and recommend them without hesitation. If you have any yard drainage issues, moisture or dampness in your crawlspace or basement or any water issue that is caused from rain/storm water Absolute is the company you should call. You will likely have to wait awhile because they are booked up, but they are booked up because they are Exceptional!"

"Jeff and his crew did an excellent job in raising a sagging porch on a rental property that my mother owns. Their estimate for what the cost would be was highly competitive. They were prompt, did what they promised, and finished the job on budget. I would highly recommend RaiseCrete for anyone needing foundation repair. They were great!"

"Zac was incredible! He was honest and informative. All my questions were answered with transparency. I didn’t feel as though he was evading any of my inquiries. The job was installed exactly how he said it would be. The team was punctual and efficient. The project results are better than I imagined. "We contacted Jason as a result of the reviews of his work on Angies List.  Jason is a working owner and uses his cell phone to conduct business so, unsurprisingly, it took us a couple of phone tags before we finally connected.  Jason came out after a full day of work and spent about 30 minutes with us discussing possible solutions to the drainage issues we wanted to address.  We settled on installation of a 40-ft retaining wall and a flower bed behind it, as well as modification of the existing irrigation system to accommodate the new construction.  We also asked Jason to do the work necessary to cap off and move any irrigation lines and equipment that would be affected by a related concrete installation project.  During the course of this work, we expanded the scope of the project to include locating and repairing a leak elsewhere in the irrigation system, reviewing and replacing spray nozzles throughout the system as appropriate, and some other general landscaping work.
Jason and his crew arrived within a few days as scheduled.  I was even surprised to see a crew report for a half-day's work on Saturday.  They did a good job of carefully exposing the irrigation lines without damage and recovering parts that we can use during reinstallation.  The retaining wall also has been completed and looks great.  We are on hold for completion of the reinstallation work and remaining landscape pending completion of the concrete work by another contractor and scheduling of Jason's crew.
Jason can be a little difficult to get hold of, and we went a couple of days wondering about the pace of the work, but I'm willing to attribute that to the fact that Jason is already working all day, a probably-misplaced expectation on my part of instant response now that we all carry cell phones, and the fact that I'm a former project manager.  To his credit, Jason accommodated several changes in the scope of work to be done during the project.  He and his team do good work, are dependable, and are fairly priced.  We have been having problems with our current landscaper (Jordan's Landscaping) and hope to replace them with Landscaping Creations for our future work.

FAQs for concrete foundation installation projects in Goodlettsville, TN

A concrete footer is a relatively shallow column of concrete that sits below your foundation walls. Footers spread wider than the foundation, so they can support a higher amount of weight in critical spots, such as below walls. The exact dimensions of footers depend on the home, so larger structures need a larger footing.

To calculate footing size, you need to know the minimum width and depth for houses in your region. Multiplying the width by the linear footprint of the structure will give you the size in linear feet.

To convert linear feet into square feet, you can divide the width by 12. For example, an 18-inch footer is 1.5 square feet per linear foot. Multiply this number by the total in linear feet to get the answer in square feet.

Installing a pier and beam foundation costs $5 per square foot, or $8,000 to $15,000. This style is standard in homes built before the 1960s or those in flood-prone areas.

Concrete weight support ranges from 1,500 to 6,500 pounds per square inch, and footings need at least 3,500 to 4,500 pounds per square inch. Remember that your soil type, climate, and materials used will significantly affect how much weight your footings can hold, especially in certain areas.

It costs between $1,600 and $3,200 to pour a 20-by-20-foot concrete slab. These estimates are based on an average cost to pour a concrete slab of $4 to $8 per square foot. Be sure to discuss the specifics with a pro—they’ll give you an estimate of how much you can expect.

The cost to raise a house is between $3,200 and $10,000. This range refers to a form of repair that involves lifting the entire house to potentially remove the old foundation and build a new one or add to an existing one.
