Ron Sparks, the handyman, also found the wall switch controlling the power to the fan was defunct and needed to be replaced. There was damaged dry wall caused by the previous installation and the mud ring was not the correct size. Ron did all of the repairs and configurations during one visit but had to return to do the fan installation because the fan had not arrived on time. He explained what needed to be done clearly.
