I was initially hesitant to ask any pro company to do the project because it was really very small and possibly “beneath “many companies. But Michael was very reassuring and seemed happy to help. I think we’re all used to even the small jobs dragging as your contractor races back-and-forth between you and other folks. And it’s obvious that this company is busy, but they arrived and completed work when expected. The company team worked quickly and efficiently. So they seem to be very well organized. "I found Mt. Diablo very easy to work with and I felt that they worked hard to give me a good value. The stone walkway in the front looks much better than the previous walkway. They installed it very quickly and efficiently. The landscaping in the back was just a bit of mulching and a few shrubs but the yard looks more finished now. The big project was removing a cement slab in the back that was too small to be of use and dipped so that it puddled in front of the door during when it rained. The new patio looks tons better and is of a useful size. I think the patio is a tremendous improvement to the house. The crew worked very efficiently and if I had another similar job I would hire them back.

"When they did the edges, I didn’t want them to put the bricks there. I wanted them to put a trench to separate where the grass started and the flower bed. I asked them to do it because I wanted it to look more professional and not like something crazy I did that wasn’t straight. It looks very crooked like something I would have done. The front they did well. I told him and he came back out and let him off the hook. He acknowledgeable that he could have done a better job. They didn’t’ put the extensions on the down spout far enough. So now I need to re-dig and make them lower or add more top soil above. They didn’t do a professional job as I would have liked. They were supposed to spray and a couple of days later I noticed that none of the vegetation was dying. I called back and they acknowledge it and came back out. They were responsive.    I tried to use them again but they were not responsive."

"I called Dan on a Saturday, expecting a return call on Monday. He called back on Sunday and alos came out on Sunday to look at the project and offer a quote and on Wednesday, he and his crew completed the rather big job. No fuss no muss! I only had a few small branches to pick up, but his crew pretty much got it all and even came back 1 more time to do some final trimming that I wanted at no charge. Good guy and good service."

"We had a dead tree in front they removed that. They still have to grind it down. They trimmed several trees away from the house. It went well. They did the job quickly. I thought the price was very reasonable considering I compared it to the price from another company. I was happy with the work. I'm still waiting till they actually removed the stump, ground it down. I liked the price most. The work was very professional. They brought it down, nothing was harmed. They did have an equipment malfunction that delayed them a little, about a day."
