The estimated date to begin the job was pushed back by around a month, but I was warned this might happen. The crew that did the job worked hard. Their English language skills did not match their stonework skills, so I had to relay my questions about it through Margie in Emerald's office, who is quite responsive. The final product looks good. A neighbor who oversees construction projects for a living looked it over & said it was done properly, so I assume it will not fall over like its predecessor. It was a multi-day effort, where Mario's team worked efficiently and cleaned and swept up all areas at the conclusion of each day. "I met with Andrew a few months before the work was to begin to discuss options.  In August 2014 he installed a long french drain that emptied into the woods and down the ravine on my property behind the house.  As sometimes happens with these things, the system did not really get a good test until today.   We had a storm cell over our neighborhood that dumped a ton of water in my yard in a very short period of time.  Andrew's drain sucked it up without a problem and moved the water as advertised.  I should have done this years ago!
