"Purchased a sprinkler tune up and back flow test with
certification. Paul is a busy guy so it took him a day to get back to me which I
think is very reasonable.  We scheduled
the appointment. He was very punctual. I explained that I had just purchased
the house so he explained how to winterize the system at the end of the season
and how to program the timer at no additional cost. During the inspection, he
found three sprinkler heads that needed to be replaced so he replaced those at
the same time. Total additional cost for the heads installed and adjusted?. $8.97.

"Brett volunteered his time to help our kids'  school.  Anyway, he came over to look at our property and instantly had some great ideas, thoughts and suggestions.  He is extremely nice, friendly, and down-to-earth.  He listened to our thoughts, spent time canvasing and mapping the property, and then thoughtfully processed them into a design that he thought might work for us, inviting us to his office to look and possibly change some of the design if we wanted.  We were highly impressed with his responsiveness, his desire to make a design that we liked, his genuine nature, his easy-to-work-with-attitude, and his overall professionalism.  We're kicking ourselves that we didn't find him sooner when we had another landscape project that we hired out,  but if we decide we need help with our landscaping project in the end, he'll be the one we call. "This is the second time I hired them since they did a good job the first time when I had my deck replaced with pavers. The problem I have with them is that the workers do not know how to plant plants. several of the of plants died. I had to replant at least 5 plants. When I was replanting (one blew out of its hole on a windy day) I found that they only dug the holes just big enough for the plant to fit then plopped the plant in. They were very sickly looking until I replanted. Also, a friend of mine just recently used them to re-do pavers, she had her dogs come in stinking of poo. She then found a spot behind her shed where one of the workers pooped and left their wipes right there. They could have at least buried it or put it in a bag to put in the garbage. Needless to say it ended up being a job of cleaning 3 dogs and the mess itself."

"I got a deal for 8 hours of clean-up for $250.  I have a big yard and didn't expect them to get everything done, but 8 hours by professionals is probably 15-20 hours by me, so it was a good deal.
In general, they got a lot done and did it fairly well.  I gave them a B on quality though because there were times when a few seemed to be looking for something to do to fill their time, but there was a section of the yard that they didn't touch.  As I said, I didn't expect them to do it all, but it seemed like they were kind of milling around for the last small portion of my purchased time when there was an area full of weeds.  It was just odd, but they didn't damage plants and carried away a ton of fallen pine-needles, pine cones and other debris, so I was happy with the service.

"Jack and his crew helped me immensely by building a fenced dog area and a French drain with a catch basin to help solve my irrigation problems. Jack is extremely responsive, friendly, knowledgable and easy to work with. I love it when contractors can take your ideas and improve them along the way. Not as a blatant upsell, but helping provide solutions for things that I, as the non-professional, would have overlooked. He made sure my downspouts were connected to the french drain, fixed some issues with my fence and gate, offered lots of ideas for improving my original plan and was well informed about the best materials and methods. The service was well worth the cost and I am super pleased with the results.

My dogs have a fenced area they can access now and I am looking forward to not having mud in my house anymore.
