"This was a challenging project. This is a very old house and the kitchen was configured in an odd cramped way. Jack had a vision for opening up walls, moving windows and dramatically changing the floor plan. It was perfectly executed and we are thrilled with the results."

"Very professional roofing company!! No pressure sales. John educated me to the different options/ materials used for 3 different roofing options. His team was on time, hard working, and made sure that my yard was clean when job was completed. I would recommend Diamond Construction to friends and family. My home now has a beautiful, quality roof.."

"Edmar and his helper Marcio were fantastic. They were conscientious of our property. They rebuilt a patio and changed our deck to extend the patio for us. They also built steps leading to the patio and a wall to encase the patio with a fence on top so our pup does not escape. The final project is absolutely breathtaking! In the past 3 years of living here we have not used this patio area so much. I could not be happier with the job they completed. Cannot wait to have them back to rebuild the outdoor fireplace and steps leading to the front door. We have recommended him to our neighbors"

"Response to my job request right away. Provided a quote the same day of the visit and was available to work the next day. Was extremely professional and communicative. On the day of the project he showed up on time and was here for 12 plus hours and never once rushed or cut a single corner. Left the job site cleaned and polished. I will 100% recommend and use Martin Countertops 115 again."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
