"Doug did a little bit of everything in the concrete and mason services for us.  He poured, repaired and built new.  Everything was done with high professionalism and quality.  The biggest project was our patio steps which were dangerous and out dated.  He cut out a new line in the raised patio and built new brick steps to better fit the flow of the back yard.  The new steps look great and are much safer.  He had to remove a lot of concrete and dirt and then rebuild so this was a big project.  His team works hard and are very professional.  I would use Doug again!

"It went fantastic! Carlos was professional, punctual, and extremely helpful throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain everything in detail, ensuring I understood what was happening at each step. The quality of his work is outstanding, and the final result exceeded my expectations. On top of that, his pricing was very fair for the level of experience he delivers. I highly recommend him for all concrete work!"

FAQs for concrete delivery projects in Granite Quarry, NC

The amount of concrete you need varies by project. One 80lb bag covers an area of about 2 square feet, for a slab 4 inches thick. Two 60lb bags of concrete cover an area of about 2 square feet for a slab that is 6 inches thick.

A truckload of concrete can usually hold a maximum of 10 cubic yards.

The cost of concrete per cubic yard depends on which brand you purchase, but usually costs about $110 for bags.

It takes about 41 bags of concrete to fill a cubic yard. Always plan to buy a few bags more than the exact required amount in case of mistakes.

To calculate the amount of concrete you need for a slab, you should find the cubic yardage of the area you will be filling. Just follow these steps:

  1. Measure the area in feet.

  2. Multiply length by width, and then by thickness.

  3. Divide the resulting number by 27 to find cubic yards.
