"The Sniders came out to do seeding, lime and fertilizer. They were very professional. It seemed though that a lot of the seeding did not take and produce new grass. It could have been the bad soil/ground that is around the house. I don't know much about lawns but there will need to be a lot of work done in the Fall that I will probably just do myself."

"They started doing my lawn. I think this is the second treatment. What has been happening is around my house the grass is dying. He took care of it this time, he said The price is good and they call you and figure out what's going on. They really try. They talk to you. I am going to wait and see what happens with the grass around the house. The grass itself looks beautiful. He said that there isn't shade on that side of the house, that is not their fault. When I first called them, the man was very good and his price is better than most people. They responded very quickly. The man was very nice and very kind. They call you before they come out. If you tell them you don't want them to do it, they won't do it. It is just very good. When I was looking for someone else to treat my lawn, this man came out first, before anyone else. He gave me the whole run down of the company. There was no waiting time and the price was good. He was quick to answer. He was able to stop, talk and explain what was going on. They just come in and do the work. They have been very good. They call me before the come. Last time when they called and said they were coming. I listened for them to drive in from the North side. I don't know which side. He came out and looked at it. He talked to me. He was telling me what he was going to do. He said I might have to put some rocks down there because apparently it is not getting any sunshine on that side or whatever. That is the last thing that he did. Was stop, talk and explain."

"Very satisfied with their service, they come weekly to mow edge and blow hard surfaces, they trim the bushes and clean out the beds when needed. Their pricing was about midrange of the people we had quote. They've been helpful in resolving some issues with weeds. We've been using their service for about 6 months now."

"We called Tim Young after they did a good job removing a 70-80 foot poplar tree from our back yard last year and for a very reasonable price. Unlike some other reviews, getting a quote completed was fairly straightforward, just a phone call and a day/time set up. Jeff came out at the agreed-upon day and time and provided an estimate in February, which we opted to wait on pursuing. After getting other quotes, we re-contacted TY to perform the work (other quotes were near TY for just one tree, not all three). TY was very responsive by email (phone contact was iffy--see below) in verifying the quote and scheduling the work. No time was set for the service, just a day (4/10/15), so it's tough to give a punctuality rating for that part, so Jeff carries the grade here.
The quote mentioned 3 climbers and no lift equipment, so I was surprised to see 6+ people up in our trees when I came home for lunch that day, especially since I didn't know what time they would show up. The crew was very quick with its work and did a great job on all the trees in about four hours' time. Our yard looked better than when they got there since they cleaned up all the debris they dropped and happened to pull some leaves and other yard debris with them. Very happy with the work they did.
Unfortunately, over the course of both this work and the last job, phone contact was iffy at best. More calls than not were met with a "full mailbox" voicemail message, even when trying to return a call to provide payment information. A cell phone number we were given was also not answered and did not go to voicemail, all of which makes me wonder how many potential jobs are either delayed unnecessarily or lost completely, but that's their business and not mine :) When a message was eventually left, response was anywhere from a few minutes to a day later, which in itself isn't a bad thing, but coupled with the spotty phone communication in general made it frustrating (to be fair, email contact is often quickly acknowledged).
Overall, the service itself is top-rate and at a good price if it can be scheduled in the first place and then paid for (they do offer the option of giving a check to the work crew or mailing one in, but I don't remember the last time I wrote a check). We will be happy to use them again in the future with the knowledge that communication is better done via email than by phone, but for someone not expecting that, it could be frustrating, hence the B grade rather than A for folks looking around for vendors.

"I have been using Dave and his crew for over 10 years to maintain my landscaping and yard work. These guys are professional and detail oriented. They are one of a few companies that pull the weeds and ivy by the root and it has been one of the key reasons that I have stayed with this company throughout the years. They really know there stuff. The mulch is a quality mulch that last and gives me a great curb appeal. My yard has won yard of the month several times! I highly recommend this company for anyone looking for reliable, trustworthy, and professional landscaping."

"Nick and his crew did everything right. Prompt return of phone calls, detailed proposal for the work, answered all my questions and did what he said they would do! They showed up when scheduled and respected my property. My backyard was a bunch of mud that after conditioning with fertilizer, lime, aeration and bringing in new top soil now looks like a golf course!
Nick is knowledge about different types of sod and the environment needed to promote a healthy lawn. I am very pleased with his work and might be calling him back to do our front lawn as well.

"Really well. Two workers showed up on time and came to the door to make sure I knew they were there and to confirm the work. Another representative stopped by about an hour into the project to make sure everything was going well and to make sure we didn't have any concerns or additional needs. The team worked hard from the time they arrived and completed everything in 3.5 to 4 hours. My wife and I are pleased with the outcome and how everything looks."

"Adam and Nathan are very responsive to a customer's needs. We chose GoGreen because we are concerned about all the chemicals that traditional lawn service companies use and are happy that our lawn, our pets and other visiting animals are not subjected to these harsh chemicals anymore. They offer three tiers of service to fit most budgets and also do pressure cleaning, which we will probably have done in a few weeks.
