"We used Pyramid to install quartz countertops in our kitchen, as well as a sink, faucet and garbage disposal (also used their subcontractor to install backsplash). This review is about the countertops and sink/faucet/disposal job-- we loved working with Bogi and the project came out beautifully. We didn't see the quartz we wanted in the Pyramid warehouse (although they had a great selection of granite and other stones), so Bogi suggested we look at MSI near Dulles. Bogi ordered the slabs we selected from MSI, coordinated the plumber to come when the counter top installers were ready for him, and even had them come back to clean up after the backsplash was installed by their subcontractor another day (he left some spilled grout on the countertop that we didn't notice until after he left.) The workers were clean, courteous and efficient."

"We had a great experience with Granite Works. We contracted our countertop work on July 28th. We feel very fortunate to have met Art. He is very professional and not a high pressure sales person.  He was more of a designer and he took us out to the slab yard helping us find slabs that matched our kitchen design and equally important budget.. We were able to use their sample cabinet materials and coordinate them with the slabs, colors, movement and patterns.  He advised us on the best cuts, edgings, care, etc. Once we selected the granite within a few minutes, Art presented us with an estimate on the spot.  We placed a 50% deposit and the next day the office assistance called us to schedule our on site template. The template process was easy and thorough. It is very helpful if you take your kitchen photos with you and your detailed measurements.  That way your estimate is accurate and Art can help you with balancing movement, appropriate area for seams, if any.  Granite works provided the granite, onsite measurements, sink options, bull nose edging and included all cut outs, plus an Angie's List discount. Our price was $2500 less than a company in  the Mt. Airy. Within a week we had a template completed, in two weeks the fabrication of 2 slabs, and the installation of occurred on  August 9th. In 1 day! We elected to forego their 4" backsplash option and we designed and installed our own. Art's design consultation was very helpful.  After we finished 1/2 the backsplash we sent Art a thank you email with a photo.  He was so surprised and we were surprised and happy 1) he remembered us, and 2) he liked our natural stone tile work.  We recommend Granite Works for quality, professionalism and price.  Good luck and thanks Angie's List. We would highly recommend Granite Vision (GV) for the kitchen countertop project. This past week, GV installed the counter top at our house. Following our first meeting with the owner, Roni, we came away impressed by his directness and knowledge of granites. We felt very confident about GV from the get go and without any second thoughts, contracted with GV. The crew consisted of Joseph (took the measurements), David and Johnny (installers) and Nevo (Plumber). We found them to be thorough professionals. They didn't take any short cuts in their respective jobs. As a result, the installation went smoothly. We particularly admired their efforts to ensure that the base was levelled before putting the granite slabs. GV exceeded our expectations big time and therefore, we absolutely have no hesitation in strongly recommending GV for granite countertop projects.

"I was looking for a small bathroom vanity countertop in  a specific Silestone color.  (A small remnant is NOT easy to find)!  I called and spoke with Nicholas.  He was extremely courteous.  He did not have what I wanted but was willing to make some calls and said he would  contact me the following week when he returned from vacation.  He did call back (which was pretty awesome in itself) and had located what I wanted.  I considered his pricing to be very fair.  Because of circumstances, I did not end up using him.  However, I was impressed with his courtesy, professionalism,and pricing. In future remodeling projects,  I would definitely call Stone Depot first.

"Architecture Stones were wonderful to work with. They helped us track down a very economical slab of quartzite that fit our space, and had a remnant in their yard, such that together the two pieces would cover our needs. This cut the price down and they were very helpful. They had software that allowed us to view an image of our slab + remnant with the counter footprint overlain, so that we could see how the veins of the quartzite would sit on the counters. We were able to make adjustments to the plan to get more of the veins and into view on the our island. Isaac Shon was really fun to work with and always in a great mood."

"My home is about 20 years old and the kitchen has granite countertops and two of them had minor scratches and two others needed minor repairs. Vincente's price given for the scope of work is similar or slightly less, but as more cracks were found in the granite countertop, he asked for $180 more. He came home and gave me an estimate, he also came on time when he said he would come and he finished the job on time. He and his assistant, lined all the work areas with plastic so that dust won't fall on them. He also put sheets on the floor where the work was conducted. Vincente repaired the stone at a few places (using the resin and stone chip color), polished, and sealed about 6 small areas in the kitchen where granite countertops were affected and he also polished and sealed all areas for the granite countertops in the kitchen. I would definitely recommend this company but make sure you agree on the price upfront and define the scope of work upfront. Thanks to Angie for providing the name of two top-notch companies for repairing the granite stones. Vincente agreed to come and do the job within 3 days of the estimate given and he did a marvelous job. Thanks."
