"Work was done within time frame stated. Old carpet that had been there for years taken up and vinyl plank floor installed. All garbage removed. Area was clean when work was done. Had a small issue that I noticed with a threshold after installation was complete but it was fixed and I am very pleased with the way it turned out and the flooring looks great. "Kathy gave me advice on how to proceed which was what I was looking for. Our first conversation was on July 29th and the job was done on August 19. I was hoping to match my existing hardwood. However Kathy was upfront that this is very difficult to do as existing hard wood in my living/dining/kitchen is 15 years old and has aged. Kathy provided a sample that I agreed seemed to blend well. Now that the floors are installed, you can tell that it is different wood in the bedrooms, but I feel like Kathy was upfront about this. The floors in the bedroom are beautiful and the workmanship was excellent. I think once furniture is in and carpet are down the demarcation will be less noticeable."

"Installers played music very loudly while working and left garage door open to house while working.  
Floor looks ok from quick glance but when you look closely as in when cleaning you can find lots of defects in wood patches where nicks and chips were tried to cover up and in one spot even a staple is visible that was tried to cover with wood filler.  They also used LOTS of staples to hold the wood floor down which caused splintering of my subfloor.  It took me 2 hours to clean up
the mess it made in my basement below this room.  I would not call them again

"Jeff May and his crew did a great job refinishing and repairing the damage to our hardwood floors caused by the first company we hired. Jeff was very knowledgeable and explained what needed to be done to so the floors could be properly refinished. Our floors now have a beautiful color and finish. . It was a pleasure to work with Jeff. His crew, Bobby and Dallas were very polite and we are pleased with their work but a minor quibble is that they always arrived late mornings. They worked constantly once they arrived. We highly recommend and wish we had initially called Jeff May Hardwoods."
