"Trejos landscaping and gardening has completed several projects for us and provide regular maintenance. They have installed a new sprinkler system, and redesigned our side yard, installing some edging and wood chips and mulch around our rose bushes. They have transformed our front yard and we highly recommend them for any landscape or gardening projects. Arturo and his crews are wonderful, hard working and do their best to make sure that our lawn consistently looks amazing. "

"Wes was easy to work with, thorough, had good recommendations to work within our budget and had the job done quickly! Overhaul of a backyard and hillside which had become completely unattended and overgrown. The results look great!"

"it went great. Everything done professional, multiple shutoff valves so i could reroute the water when I wanted to swap out the new filtration system filters. I was very happy with the work they did. They installed pex and it looks so much nicer and smoother than the original galvanized/copper piping I originally had. Very happy with the outcome."

"P.M. Landscaping is outstanding! We highly recommend them for installation without reservation! We hired P.M. Landscaping to re-grade our backyard drainage, then install an extensive area of pavers, and finally add drip irrigation for our new landscaping. We ended up installing boulder retaining-walls to secure the steep hills in our back yard which slope toward our house. The whole project took about 4.5 weeks of full-time, multi-laborer work. P.M. Landscaping was attentive to detail and asked for input where there were choices to be made. At the end of each day they cleaned up and put their tools aside in one area. We waited several months for them to be able to do our job. The wait was longer than usual due to the COVID19 pandemic slowing paver manufacturing. We are very glad we could wait to get the best!"

"The do several different lawn services. They cut the grass, trim different things, and more. They are very friendly and nice. I really like them. The leader, Ruth is just amazing. She is very knowledgeable about plants. She helped me bring back a few plants that I thought I lost. She gave me tips on when to feed them and other tips. The price is very reasonable. I will continue to use them in the future."

FAQs for lawn and garden sprinkler system installation projects in Greenfield, CA

While drip irrigation systems have higher upfront costs, they can save you money in the long run. By delivering water directly into the soil with minimal evaporation and runoff, drip irrigation systems conserve water and improve efficiency. This means better performance and results for your landscaping, and cost savings over the system's lifespan.

Yes, irrigation systems can add value to your home, especially when installed with high-quality materials and a solid design. A well-irrigated landscape enhances curb appeal and can attract potential buyers. However, poor design or installation may reduce performance and even decrease your property's value. Hiring an expert for installation and performing regular maintenance is key to securing the long-term benefits.

A local irrigation professional can help you check your drip irrigation system to make sure it's in good shape. You'll want to make sure the water pressure is in a good range, repair any leaks as soon as possible, and cover the cost to winterize your sprinkler system as recommended by your irrigation contractor.

A drip irrigation system lasts between 10 and 15 years. This lifespan is determined by the quality of materials, the precision of installation, and regular professional maintenance. Unlike traditional sprinkler systems that can last up to 50 years, the thinner piping used in drip systems is more sensitive to UV exposure and environmental wear. Proper upkeep and timely repairs enhance durability and ensure consistent irrigation performance.

Drip irrigation is best suited for plant beds, containers, greenhouses, and row crops. It supplies water directly to individual plants, ensuring precise moisture control where it is needed most. For areas with simple layouts, above-ground systems work efficiently, while subsurface installations may be cost-prohibitive in spaces with extensive tree roots or irregular terrain. Proper planning maximizes the benefits of drip irrigation across a variety of applications.
