"The professional of this company came out early in the morning and was finished by two in the afternoon. My house is about 2000 ft.² they installed a full 6 foot vinyl fence around the perimeter of my home. I would highly recommend them for additional projects. "

"Reaffirming all the other reviews. Quote was given at time of estimate, and completed a week later in 1 day. Concrete patio looks great, the workers showed up early and were great, they cleaned up and laid grass seed. Would definitely hire again for next project"

"My sidewalk had one section that settled, and created a tripping hazard. Rather than destroy the pad, and pour a new section of concrete. I hired Stabil Solutions to use polyurethane foam technology to raise the pad. It was a perfect job, nice even walk way. The foam works fast, and fills any voids that may be under the pad. If you have a driveway section, or walk way that is not level, this is a great way to save money and time without creating a huge construction project...no messy bags of concrete. Consult Stabil Solutions."

"Carlos & team visited 2-3 times to make sure we were ok with the various materials, and gave us multiple suggestions based on our budget. Ultimately we went with 1 dividing wall, vs 2, based on the cost, and we actually like it better this way. It was hot when they did the work, but they stayed on task & were very diligent about the work. About 1/2 way through laying out the pavers, my wife noticed there was a bit color variation from what we wanted, and so they actually picked up most of it, and blended it in with another lot. Turns out that even though from same manufacturer, some variation is expected, and it just so happened the 2 pallets were from different lots, so they pulled a bunch of it up & mixed them in, so the variation was more natural, vs. a dramatic shift. About 1 month after they were done, the dirt around the edge of the patio and run off, and so we called, and they installed sod around the edge of the patio (rounded section), which solve the problem. I attached 1 or 2 "in progress" photos to show the extent of the work. We are in the process of adding a pool, so the yard is in a bit of disarray. But the point of the recent pictures is 2 years later, the patio still looks great, no settling, no weeds popping in, so they did great prep work & it has been awesome."

"The company has a nice selection of product and can tailor them to suit. I got an item near the top of the line. They matched the brick on my house pretty well. The site prep involved digging perhaps 30 inches into the ground and pouring a concrete footer. They let this cure for a few days and then a real brick mason came back for the final construction. There were a couple of minor niggling issues, which I let them know about, and they were out the morning of the next business day to take care of these, and were very pleasant about it at that. Nice way of dealing with a complaint. Many people have complimented me on this mailbox, and a couple of other homes in the neighborhood also purchased boxes from this company. They did a nice job for me and cleaned up well. Everything was done on time and as promised. They even hauled away the old, broken mailbox and post. I can recommend this company if you need a mail box, and in particular a higher-end brick model."

"Things went well. Project took longer than expected but tuned out exactly how we wanted it built. Built 18ft x 40ft gunite pool, all equipment and heater were installed, upgraded plaster to crystal stones smooth which turned out amazing, and had about 1000sqft of paver patio installed around the pool."

FAQs for concrete patios, walks & steps installation projects in Greensboro, MD

Most sidewalks rely on a ready‑mix blend of Portland cement, sand, gravel, and water that trucks deliver to your site and pour in one continuous lift. For added strength, many contractors fold in fiber mesh or steel reinforcement. This mix cures into a rock‑solid slab that stands up to foot traffic, freeze‑thaw cycles, and daily wear for decades. Expect a pro to recommend a 4‑inch‑thick pour for standard walkways.

With the right mix, proper drainage, and routine upkeep, a concrete sidewalk can last 25 to 50 years. Freeze‑thaw cycles, road salt, and heavy loads all shorten that timeline, but sealing every few years and patching small cracks early keeps damage in check. Think of sealing as inexpensive insurance for decades of safe, stable footing. In milder climates, some slabs push well past the 30‑year mark without major repairs.

Concrete sidewalks crack as a result of significant temperature fluctuations and heavy load pressures. The freeze-thaw cycles and sustained weight from vehicles or intense foot traffic force the concrete to develop cracks over time. Applying a premium sealant every two to three years and substituting salt with sand for de-icing minimizes crack formation. Regular maintenance and timely repairs safeguard the sidewalk’s structural integrity and extend its service life.
