The roof is very different from most slate roofs. While most slate roofs use the same color, width and thickness tile, my roof used random width, color and thickness tile. Matching their work to the old roof was a challenging job. The Roberts team ( 11 craftsmen ) removed slightly more than half the roof. They mixed in approximately 2,000 reclaimed tiles from their vast inventory with the tiles they harvested from my roof. The result.... excellent. The pattern match.... flawless.
