I was sold on Universal being a certified CertainTeed product installer. It is a superior product than what is sold in general big box stores such as Home Depot. Day of 2 layers of old shingles removal, inspector Abe showed me the sins of others. The base wood was circa 1938, and needed to go. Not unexpected however they worked with me to arrange a loan to support the extra work estimate. As well my chimney was sadly in need of professional pointing beyond the shoddy patch jobs done by prior owners. I was assigned a project manager Ben, that kept all the work moving at pace as outlined. The workers were all responsible and respectful of me and my plants and property. "We had been searching for a roofing company to repair our front porch for 2 years. There were 3 other companies that came to do an estimate and never sent it, did not return phone calls, and just left us still searching. We doubted the porch would last another winter. The roof brothers returned our call within 2 hours, and were out to do the estimate a day later. The gave us information, as to what all of the steps were. "We had Shingle Me Now put our new shingles on in 2020. They did replace old roofing and replaced some old, damaged roof board. They weatherized the new roof too. They did a wonderful job. We just this year had shingles falling down in one area. The owner of business, Michael Graci came out personally to see what the problem was and made sure it was not their fault. It was a bad lot of shingles. It was a Manufacture warranty issue and Mr. Graci took the shingles that fell down back to his sales representative to show the manufacturer personally. Michael assured us there was no problem and he would cover setting up new installation of everything would not cost us anything out of pocket. He went ahead and ordered new shingles, which worked out in our favor because the style and color we had are no longer available. He was able to give us an upgrade to keep the color we want. They came within a week and he had everything scheduled quickly. We are very pleased with this Company and can rest at ease now before winter hits. We highly recommend anyone who needs a new roof to call them."

"When my roof started leaking I began the arduous task of getting estimates for a new roof. After getting a number of estimates from most of the minor and major roofing companies serving Orange County NY, I was not impressed. Most of the larger companies were expensive and the owner is not involved in the installation. The smaller companies had no website or did not belong to the Better Business Bureau. I also received a couple of estimates from home improvement companies which although they had much lower estimates, they were not accredited with the shingle manufacturer which could void the warranty. As a last resort I called Luna Siding and Roofing, Inc. Their salesman Sam came out the next day and I explained to him I did not need the whole sales pitch about the shingles which I had heard a number of times already. He explained to me that the owner is on site throughout the roof installation. Sam did not give me an estimate on the spot which all of the other contractors previously had. A day or two later I received a detailed estimate of the work to be done with a ton of additional information. I was also impressed with the fact that I was given a 48 hour discounted price which helped to expedite my decision. After doing some research of the company as well as requesting photos of actual work that they had done, I signed a contract. To my luck they had an immediate opening. Within a few days after sending a deposit, the owner Rolando and his crew arrived 7am in the morning and immediately went to work. Unfortunately for me the roof sheathing had two problems, it was only 3/8 inch plywood and portions of the roof exposed to direct sunlight all day had melted the shingles onto the plywood which was impossible to remove. After doing some quick online research and talking to Rolando, I decided to have the entire roof sheathing replaced with 1/2 inch plywood. Although it was unexpected expense, I do not believe in being penny wise and dollar foolish as the saying goes, putting a new roof over questionable roof sheathing could lead to very expensive problems later which the shingle manufacturer may not cover. Rolando was also flexible with allowing me to pay a small balance in the near future after the holidays. The crew worked throughout the day and were completed by 4 in the afternoon. The yard was completely cleaned and the roof looked great. I would highly recommend Luna Siding and Roofing to friends and family."

We're delighted with both the quality of this brand, the availability of the color we wanted "Weathered Wood," and the professional service "Summit Peak Roofing" had provided. There's a 30 year warranty provided by "Certainteed" and it's algae resistant. Looks great! We've had NO problems and people have stopped at our home to inquire about the contractor we hired. Everything went well right from the start. The contractor was both courteous and kept supplies neat while they were on our premises. The whole job (because the weather was good) took about 5 days.
