"In 2013 I was out of town on a trip. My wife called in a panic because water was coming in through a crack in the basement wall. We had lived in the house for 20 years with no issues. Recently we had new sidewalks poured which disrupted the water flow from the house. This caused water to seep back into the foundation. "The initial experience was positive. However, I was planning additional work where she recommended her son to perform. I called her son and he did not return my phone call. After speaking with her, he call the next day. Unfortunately he was not qualified to perform the work I desired, so I informed him to not stop by for  a pre-bid discussion. I believed it would have been a waste of his time, since I knew I wasn't going to use him. Within the next day she sent an email and indicated she "could no longer support by proposal as she had too many clients". I find this hard to believe since she never mentioned this at any point in our discussions. As a matter of fact she was quote excited about working on my project. I believe she was discouraged that I did not use her son. While I can not speak of her landscaping skills, I believe her move was unprofessional.

"They did a great job and I'd use them again.  Ultimately, they did what they said they were going to do at the price they promised. The results look great--just what I requested.  From the estimation process through final clean-up, they were conscientious and professional.  It took a few trips, but they got it all done by the requested due date, and they even voluntarily did some proactive regrading/soil-fill where needed to prevent future drainage issues. I've had contractors from over 20 different companies at my house over the last year, and of those 20 there are only 5 that I would call or use again.
