I bought a custom fit chimney cap myself for like $200 I think and then had emerald city retrofit and install it for $450."

He advised me that the brick, mortar, and even the firebox are in very good shape and will last many more years and that all I need is to put a new concrete cap on the chimney then clean and put a water sealant on it. He told me I can actually do all of this work myself and save money on it. Don't get that kind of help very often."
