"We used them for a lawn service and consulted with them on care of trees. They do fertilization of trees for me, but we've never had them for tree trimming. Deep root fertilization, in spring for scale and things like that. I've been very pleased with their service. They'll start again here in April. We're signed up with them again this year, the full program. The lawn service is broken down by services: if they put grub control, if they put weed killer. So, it's all itemized. Same with the trees: if they're spraying for scale...We had a lot of dry periods last year. We do have an in-ground sprinkler system, but the fellows who applied the fertilizer, and it was a dry fertilizer at the time, caused some burned areas in the yard, which I was unhappy about. I understand how it happened. So that was the main problem. It was just one episode, but it takes a while for that to correct itself and get the lawn back in shape in spots. The interaction was good. We have a fellow we deal with there and I usually ask for him directly. Their responsive. Whenever I have any issues, for example, one time when I had a deep root fertilization, they punctured my sprinkler system feed, and so we had to have that corrected. They've been careful since then, whenever they come out. They're good to deal with. They we didn't ask for them to pay for anything, but they did give us an extra fertilization service for free. They didn't charge us. They have been responsive."

"Had Scott's Lawn Care and a beautiful lawn, company sold to try-green and things started to go down hill. Lawn just didn't look quite as good, but stayed with them. Last year we notified them of a 3 ft square brown patch. Two technicians looked at it and said they would note problem. No response, then patch continued to grow. Always a different technician each application. Two different specialist/supervisors came out said we see problem, will have it taken care of within 48 hours. Needs to be reversed, grub protection, grubs are the problem. We will reseed in the fall and make you happy. Fast forward to fall, told it is too late to seed, we'll take care of it when services resume in spring. Spot has grown from 3 ft sq to more than 200 sq feet. They talk a good game, but there is NEVER follow through and no ownership of what they have done. Our beautiful Scott's Lawn is gone, and we are stuck with Tru Green's botched service. Talked with neighbor adjacent, he now does his own and has dropped Tru Green."
