"Lee initially inspected the flashing during a separate furnace installation. Later, he was easy to contact, and was able to squeeze the job in on short notice before the weather was too cold for it.  He was happy to show me the work up on the roof when he finished it. I can't comment on whether this fixed the problem of the water drips in the bathroom because there hasn't been extreme precipitation since the job was done. But I am happy with the work thus far. I did not rate the quality of the work because I'm not knowledgeable, but I am confident that it was a good job, and I plan to hire Lee for some tuck pointing when the weather allows in springtime.

Shortly after reaching out I received a call back from Jacob who is a real pleasure to work with. Jacob setup a convenient day and time for us to meet to take a look at the roof. Jacob being the professional he is took pictures of the shingles lifting, missing and moss growing in the valleys to share with me. After Jacob performed his roof inspection we sat down to discuss the process, materials and pricing for the job. Extreme Exteriors was able to come in approximately $300 less then comparable competitors. For insurance reasons I had a very aggressive schedule and required the roof installed ASAP - Jacob was able to coordinate with his crews along with pulling all the necessary permits needed to perform the job in the time frame I required it. This company does not mess around - the day after the shingles were delivered a crew showed up early at the house. Extreme Exteriors got the work completed in about 5 hours keeping the work area clean and they performed a Magnet sweep to pickup any stray nails. This company did a complete tear-off, installed GAF Snow Country Ridge Vent System, Front and Back Edge Vents, installed new drip edge and 6' of ice & water shield. They also install new flashing around the chimney. I would definitely use this company again for any of my future roofing needs and would highly recommend them to my friends and family."

"Andrew and Rob were terrific (I hope I'm remembering their names correctly). They were friendly, informative, and totally professional. This was consistent with Guy's earlier excellent analysis and recommendations earlier in the autumn when I first contacted Blanket Insulation. It tells you the company is hiring and training well when you see three employees at different times all behaving so helpfully.
Andrew called me to let me know exactly when they would arrive that morning, which made me confident as 9AM approached that the appointment was not going to be forgotten or delayed. You know how important that is given how some contractors make you wonder "are they really showing up today?".
Andrew was very good at explaining the details of what they did and what they found, taking the time to show me photos he took on his tablet of their work in various parts of the attic. As with Guy's initial visit, the home office emailed me the photos so I can have more proof of the improvements made to the home under my ownership. My old house lacks a basement so the forced air heating has to go through a cold attic before delivering heated air to my rooms below. Prior owners hadn't done anything to air seal and insulate the ducts.
I was also impressed that they completed the work well before the end time predicted by the home office, so they under-promised and over-delivered on their scheduling. After a couple weeks, I think I feel warmer in the house, especially one three season room that Andrew said had some pretty wide gaps around the vents and cold air would waft down when the furnace wasn't running.
Based on this positive experience, I'll ask Blanket Insulation to return next fall to seal the air gaps in the rest of the attic, and, someday when I don't need any contractors working up there on other projects, blow in cellulose to snug this place up.
