The sales person, Lawrence, was very informative about building codes and what was involved in the process, and didn't talk down about any of his competitors like another company I received an estimate from did. "Tom and his crew were very polite and professional. They worked constantly from the time they arrived until they left at the end of the day. They always cleaned up any mess they made at the end of the day and left the area neat. Chris, worked on the crown mouldings and baseboards and did an excellent job. The crown and the baseboards are beautiful and make the house look so polished. I absolutely love the mouldings and baseboards. The painting was done very well and I am very pleased with every room that was painted. My basement looks fantastic! The flooring and baseboards look spectacular! Tom goes out of his way to insure everything the customer wants is done. He even went with me to Home Depot to pick out the doors and locks. He also did extra tasks that weren't in the contract, such as putting vents in my furnace room because they should be there for safety reasons. I truly appreciated Tom's thoughtfulness in completing jobs in my house because they were needed or would make my home look better. I was very fortunate to find Tom and his crew, because not only were they professional and personable, but they completed all of the work I contracted for and did even more that I didn't ask for. Tom really did treat my home as if it was his and provided high quality work and a great smile too. I highly recommend Tom and his construction company to anyone looking for an honest and fair contractor, who takes pride in the quality of work performed. I had priced our eight other companies and not only was this great company the best price. I have looked around other homes and the work and their quality was by the best I have seen. I spoke with a person named Dennis Merlini and not only did they deliver on timing, quality and price they even put the grass back around my driveway. "I would like to thank JCJ for the excellent service you and your team provided. I typically do all my home/auto repairs myself but on the few occasions that I have hired "professionals" something has always gone wrong. Which generally leads to me having regrets about not doing the project myself. However in this case everything was perfect. Mike arrived and provided me an estimate promptly after my request. The work was scheduled and your team arrived exactly when I was told they would without delay. The team done such a great job in the demo that the work was actually performed requiring less rebuild than was anticipated originally. Which brought the project in at a lower cost than what was originally quoted. Then you immediately updated the invoice to reflect those changes in cost without hesitating. Also I would like to add that the communication process was excellent throughout the process, I knew what was going to be done and when it would be done and what it would cost to do each item on the quote. There were no surprises (except the reduced cost) and the workmanship was FANTASTIC. Like I said I typically I do my own repairs but after this job was complete and Mike came by to look at the project, I asked him to give me a quote on some more work I would like JCJ to perform for me. I am looking forward to receiving that quote and working with your team even more in the future."

"depends who you ask, 1st person I talked to upon estimate said they could smooth the area where the driveway meets the road at no extra charge and the 2nd person I talked to said it would be an extra charge with different trucks. The coating applied is so thin that I can still see all the tiny hairline cracks that were there before. I filled the larger cracks a few days before coating with an asphalt rope that you melt with a torch but they want to send a different crew out to fix larger gaps than what their thin coating will accomplish, just seems incomplete!"
