"The technicians showed up the next day to give us a quote, and then (once we agreed to the quote) they were able to start work immediately (same day). They installed a chimney cap, sealed two other old chimney pipes (no longer in use), sealed the stone of the chimney itself and also installed a flexible crown seal. It was more than we thought to have done on the chimney, but the peace of mind is worth it. They finished in about 1.5 hours and did a great job. Would hire again."

Paul quoted us a fair price- not cheap, but liners are a costly job to begin with. He gave us a very detailed written estimate. He explained to us what needed to be done along with how he would proceed should there be anything unexpected, based on what he saw in his original inspection of the chimney interior. They took the needed time to explain everything as work proceeded and were meticulous in their clean up of the furnace room. "Great experience with Nutmegger Chimney Service. Mike returned my call within 24 hours and we set up an appointment. He was punctual and worked quickly and efficiently. After an initial inspection of the fireplace and chimney, he gave me the estimate to clean, which I agreed to. He was able to clean it at that time and the whole process took about an hour. There was no mess afterward. He also gave me some tips on how to use the fireplace more effectively and how to avoid down drafting.
