We originally thought we wanted spray foam insulation, but after meeting and talking with Alex, we chose to upgrade the insulation we already had as he felt that the spray foam was not appropriate for our home. "The process went quickly and smoothly. Jonathan Handey came to our house to look over our current issues with our insulation, attic, and overall efficiency of our home built in 1948. He recommended that we seal all the top plates in the attic, insulate and air seal our duct leaks, blow new loosefill insulation over our entire attic to upgrade our insulation, air seal the open ares around our floors, windows, and doors, and install weather stripping on all of our doors.
The work took a total of two days and we barely noticed the workers in our home despite the fact that I work from home. They were hard at work in our basement and attic for 8-10 hours each day and got everything completed in a quick and thorough manner. Once they were completed they tested out the home to see if there was any energy loss coming through the top plates, ducts, etc. and the tests showed that my home's performance had been greatly improved. 
Jonathan and his crew were incredibly professional and kind at the same time. They provided an itemized list with costs of each improvement they were to make in the initial bid process of the job and they communicated clearly and effectively throughout the process as to the timeframe and what we were to expect.

"Excellent. Waylon and his team were very professional, answered all questions I had and performed superb service. Within the past year, I have had a few issues with my HVAC system. First go around, I contacted a different company who came by to access the issue and repair. For the time and labor involved (less than an hour) I feel I paid an outrageous amount but it needed to be done (summer time in the Panhandle of FL). The second issue, which turned out to be a faulty capacitor was handled by Waylon at H&W. Again another less than hour job to access and fix the issue but this time Waylon explained why this fix would be a "Band-Aid" to a bigger problem and advised looking into replacing my unit soon due to it's age and wear. All in all this cost me a third of the price from the previous visit by the other company. Fast forward to this past week, I contacted H&W and another company to get a quote for HVAC replacement. The first company came by and gave a detailed review of what would be done. H&W did the same but forwarded me the quote same day. The other company didn't get back to me until 3 days later, needless to say they missed out. Waylon and his professional team came by and completed the job, ran through everything they took care of and even followed up on additional questions I had at the end. You will be doing yourself a disservice if you do not contact them for any HVAC issue, big or small."
