"I wish Angie's List would let you choose "Maybe" when they ask if you would use the provider again as that is what I'd select. <br /> The repair person showed up on time, was clean, courteous and very professional.  I already had an idea of what was wrong, but wasn't sure if I could change the part out myself even after checking a YouTube video.  After watching the repairman replace the thermal fuse, I realized I could have done it myself in the few short minutes it took him.  Although I was very happy with his professionalism and work, I was not happy with the price.  I was charged $16.47 for a part that I could have gotten at Lowe's for about $7.00.  Labor for less than an hour was $91.65 and a charge of $79.95 to just show up (which I was informed about up front).  <br /> The next time I have a problem with a major appliance, I'll definitely check YouTube again and give it a try myself. Most likely I can do it even though I don't consider myself mechanically inclined. For the price I paid for this service and fuse, I could have paid for half of a new dryer with a year warranty.   <br /> I have no complaints about the repair itself or the person who performed the repair -- it's 4 months later and I've not had any more problems. I just think Bob Wallace Appliance charges way too much for just showing up. <br />"
