"the leak was discovered Wednesday morning. Water was already leaking to the second floor. Sheri Lane was wonderful to place a claim for us, however the Friday scheduled service was just not responsive enough for us and we had the work done for $399.00. I'm sending in a paid invoice for reimbursement consideration. As a Homeowner, we just needed to minimize secondary damage that we realize is not covered under the home warranty. "Curtis Flooring performed the work for Fabulous Floors (as a sub).  I had a very tight floor installation schedule and needed the floor in before my furniture arrived.  Curtis, from Curtis Flooring, worked with me to schedule the exact time and date that worked out perfectly.
Curtis visited my home about a week before the installation and provided INCREDIBLE feedback.  I was first going to go with an engineered floor.  Instead, Curtis directed me towards the solid hardwood and made a very clear point that they do no cut corners on quality install.  He knew how a floor is supposed to look when it is installed correctly and gave me a plethora of suggestions that changed my entire mindset of what I wanted (thankfully I still had not purchased the hardwood).  After his visit I went to Lumber Liquidators and bought the best 5" solid wood that they had (no underlayment required with this type of install because it is glued and nailed to the sub-floor).

"We hired Steffin to fill in the big puddles forming in our long dirt driveway. He came to our home very quickly to provide us a quote, and had the job scheduled less than a week out. I only received quotes from Steffin and Jensen's, and Steffin's quote was much more reasonable for our budget. On the day for the work to be done, he and his assistant Matt came out and worked efficiently through the morning and early afternoon. By 3pm we had new gravel installed on our driveway and he even let me and my 1-year old son sit on his tractor for a photo op. The work was done about a month ago and I waited to post the review to see how the dirt settled, literally. Now, even after a heavy rain, there are minimal puddles. A huge improvement compared to the "pond" that had previously been forming at the end of the driveway. Steffin and Matt were a wealth of knowledge with lots of experience. I was able to get quite a few general other questions answered about home repair while they were here. They also did some work on our sliding door so I can close it again without having to lift it, much appreciated! I'd recommend this business for gravel work and any other handyman needs. The only thing I would have done differently is perhaps choose a smaller gravel size for the driveway as the ones we used are difficult for our toddler to ride his bike over."
