"The company was extremely professional and answered all of my questions since I'm a first time home buyer. My fence was rotten and needed replacement around the winter. The company was very helpful to assist...the down side was waiting for the weather to not be too cold to allow the fence to be installed (which took a few weeks). The price was reasonable and fence installation went very well."

"Just wanted to let you know that we are so happy with the deck. Everyone at Fence & Deck Connection was so easy to work with. This was the easiest home improvement/repair we've ever gone through. We really want to thank everyone. From our initial meeting with Tracy to the pre and post installation meetings with AJ things could not have gone better. Everyone we dealt with just via email was also extremely responsive. It actually surprised me how quickly our emails were replied to. And the crew were also great."

"They quoted me a good price. They installed the fence when they said they would. No delays. I would hire them again."

"I'll start this review by saying that to me, the "end result" is what counts most. And Neale and his company produced exactly the custom look security fence I had envisioned. This was a bit of an unusual request, because even though many people have iron bars welded over their A/C units for security, I needed two large, expensive (side by side) heat pumps protected. Also, I felt a "security fence" would look better than just metal bars. So here was my experience: After 1st calling and getting leaving a message with an assistant, it did take a few days but Neale called me back to set up an appointment to give an estimate. He arrived right on time, took a look at the situation, and after a few minutes of brainstorming we were on exactly the same page in terms of design - and I liked how he sketched it out. I also felt his quote was very reasonable (his was the 3rd estimate I had gotten). And I don't know, there was just something about Neale, I could tell he had a *passion* for security fencing and "keeping crooks out" so to speak. After getting my estimate in writing via email later that day, I put down my (1/3) deposit. About a week later, after fabricating much of the fence in his shop, Neale and his team arrived and got to work fast. I took them 2 days total, which was fine (day #1 they installed the fence posts and the concrete needed to set overnight). Day# was most of the assembly, welding and the paint job. Now, about 2 weeks later, I am extremely happy with the final result. Very secure, and very sharp looking! Even the gloss black paint job is very nice. My neighbors have made several admiring comments over the past week also. The only thing I could fault, if anything, would be if speed - is critical too you.Baltimore Wrought does seem like a busy company so don't be surprised if there is a week or so delay / backlog. Also, they do prefer cash payment vs credit card. (I did my deposit on credit card and paid the final 2/3 cash). But these minimal factors were not a big deal for me, because *high quality* work and to a lesser extent, total price, were all I really cared about - and these guys definitely delivered on both!

"Wilmer and his team installed a privacy fence around our backyard and fixed a gate in two days. They are hard workers and offer a competitive price. Will hire again for construction needs."

"I needed to have 6 Eastern White Pines and 1 Spruce tree remove along my property line between me and my neighbor's driveways. The white pines were about 50 years old and 30 to 50 feet tall. Also along the pine trees was a stone wall . Freestate Tree Removal's quote was the best price of four estimates I received. They arrived at the time they said they would and completed the job that day. They cut the trees down, chipped all resulting brush and debris. They even removed an existing pile of debris that I had accumulated from fallen limbs due to an ice storm. They loaded and hauled away all the logs which could not be chipped. All 7 stumps were removed. The area was raked and blown clean of debris. Watching the professional way in which they protected our driveways and the expert protection of the wall was a sight to behold. I would highly recommend Freestate Tree Service to anyone."

"Mark and his crew did an amazing job. Some highlights: 1) Mark's proposal was the most reasonable of the three we received. 2) Mark provided some design options and suggested we go to the local stone store to be sure we got what we wanted. We appreciated his suggestions as well as his respect for our choices. 3) Mark's crew was always courteous and thorough. They also cleaned up each day and happily hosed down our neighbor's driveway per his request. 4) A few times throughout the process we had new ideas to which Mark provided his advice and updated cost estimates. For an additional $850 we were able to add more value to the final product. All told, Mark and his team built four retaining walls, installed a patio under our deck, installed a landing pad outside our pool (with the extra pavers from the deck project), installed a paver walkway between our under-deck patio and the pool, regraded the yard, seeded and strawed the yard, and replanted some perennials that were displaced in the regrading. 5) Mark always kept us updated on progress - particularly important in this rainy spring."

"Manny was solid. He and his assistant were punctual, diligent, and provided quality service. They particularly went the extra mile as my wood fence butts-up against a ton of old chain-link fencing and foliage, making the job 5x harder than a standard wash & stain gig."

"Kargmans has been an absolute Godsend. After 3 contractors and 8 months with a destroyed kitchen and all living areas, I turned to Angie's List and went straight for the highest rated company I could find. I assumed that my bank account would suffer as a result but it didn't matter at that point. Others had ruptured pipes, damaged wood floors, installed drywall cut incorrectly and smoked and drank in my home. Kargmans changed all of that and proved to me that home improvement can be a positive experience.
Within days someone came to my home to see the scope of the work, within 2 days I had an estimate, and within less than 2 weeks (during the holidays I must add) my work was scheduled.
Day 1: Walter arrived on-time and after a quick walk-through, I was able to leave and return throughout the day while he worked. He was professional and communicative. Two supervisors came throughout the day to check on the progress. He did great work, cleaned up well and let me know when someone would return the following day.
Day 2: Lucas arrived on-time and Fabian accompanied him to explain the scope. He let me know that I didn't need to do anything and again, I went back and forth between work to check progress. Lucas did such great work, and with the best attitude that I had to call to let the office know.
Day 3: I was happy to see Lucas back again. He assured me it was under control and I left for work. I received a phone call saying that he was finished and when I pulled up, Lucas was waiting when he could have just locked the knob lock and left. He had again wiped down all of the stairs, swept inside and even cleaned the exterior concrete steps with the hose outside. I made the mistake of leaving a hairbrush on the bathroom counter and, even though he used a drop-cloth on EVERY SINGLE SURFACE, he rinsed off my hairbrush.
Day 4: This last short appointment was for light carpentry on my stairs. Uver (please forgive misspelling) was clearly the carpentry expert. Every day, Kargmans sent me someone who specialized in each task. He asked me what my plans were for the railings, let me know that what I had planned to do would cause me more grief later on, and showed me pictures of what my options were. He took measurements and sent them to the office for an estimate. I had it within a few short hours. We decided to revisit this portion another day but I'm looking forward to the beautiful work that Uver showed me when the time comes.
In all, the cost was EXTREMELY reasonable and the project timeline quoted was met! One of the best parts was to know that I could call into the office and speak with Erin every time. No matter what she was working on, she made me feel like she dropped everything to answer my questions. I am in a project management and client service industry. The level of service and quality of work I have experienced with Kargmans is something that good companies continuously strive for. Do yourselves a favor and choose the individualized attention by specialized professionals that this company has to offer. If you don't, they will be there to help you clean up the mess :)
Kargmans has given me back my home and I could not be more thankful.
