"I was on the market for a security system and this one seemed easy enough to install.......went through the process and some of the window sensors were not working. I called Customer Support who was very friendly and we went through the entire process again...this time other window sensors did not work. This went on for a week or so...then the door senors stopped working....than the motion sensor stopped working...at no time in over a month did I have a fully operational security system. As I was about to return the system I was told they have "new" sensors and they just realized they received a bad batch and are working with another company.....Gave it a try....and same issue returned....some sensors worked....some didn't. I finally returned the system and stopped getting emails.....only to find that they were still billing my credit card even after I returned the equipment. Very nice people and very understanding.....unfortunately their product is not up to par. While we do have a large home, it's an open concept and the sensors that weren't working were no more than 15ft away from the base. The previous owners of my house had a wireless system with no issues at all.....I'm going to be using that company going forward."

"The Smart Home features they installed, such as thermostat and door locks, etc. do not always work. For example, the Honeywell thermostat can no longer be operated from our phones and is difficult to install. Remote door locks are also unpredictable."

They told us that if we upgraded the skylight to one that is solar powered we would get a tax credit of 30% of the entire job, a savings of over $2000. We weren't planning to replace the skylight but the numbers made sense. When we filed our taxes for that year we learned that the skylight they used did NOT qualify for the tax credit. They mislead us to spending an extra $2,500 on the job. When I called to complain I left a message but no one ever returned my call. This is after they didn't do a good job on the roof and it took them months to come back and fix the leaks they caused. STAY AWAY!! Show less"

"They installed a camera and security system for me. The security system mostly works- though there'd been some weirdness here and there, but they are very slow at responding to help with system configuration issues. The install also took ~2x the time it should have due to poor planning on their part. The real issue are the cameras - poorly, incorrectly installed, and a sloppy job at that. I made my displeasure known - they are useless when it rains or snows - and they refuse to do anything about it. Add to that a 2x markup on end-of-life equipment, and I'm out. I'll end up replacing them myself and redoing the install job when the weather gets nicer. Long story short: when my monitoring agreement is up, I will move my business to another (DMP) integrator."
