"We were pointed in the direction of Perry Bros by multiple people who had hired them for home renovation projects in the past. We had done several smaller projects "DIY" but when it came to knocking down several walls to renovate our kitchen, we knew we wanted to hire trusted professionals. We had looked at 2 other contractors before deciding to proceed with Perry Bros. Every member of the crew was courteous, knowledgeable and professional. We lived in the house during construction and the crew did a great job keeping the work area clean after each day of work. There were several situations throughout the project that required us to change and adapt our plans. Each time, the Perry Bros crew provided helpful guidance and recommendations. There were a few scenarios where they helped accommodate slight changes to stay within our budget. We were very pleased with how everything turned out, and would definitely hire Perry Bros again in the future."

"Wallpaper removal = A; plastering = A-; painting: C+. We were disappointed in the overall experience. They were kind enough and their wallpaper removal and plastering was great, really solid—but on the final day, they rushed with the painting to get it done on the original time frame, and while one room was top notch, another was above average, and the bathroom was very sloppy. There was wall paint on our bathroom tiles, vanity, and shower; unsanded/unsmoothed plaster chunks that were just painted right over and were unsightly and lumpy; peeling caulking; parts where the paint was crooked or misaligned with baseboards; paint dribbles on floor and utensils on counter; and they did a poor job cleaning up, with plaster dust everywhere, paint to be cleaned up in the bathroom, and paint and plaster dust in, on, and around our cabinets. One of the crew members’ painting skills was just rushed and poor and it detracted from the others’ skills. By the time the job was over they rushed to get out of the house and did not carefully complete a walkthrough."

He implemented the bathroom, laundry, and closet design ideas beautifully. A critical positive factor was communication. Pedro was responsive to my questions and concerns. "James, Derek, Jose and the rest of the DiOrio team were great to work with. We hired DiOrio for a total full bathroom gut job - full demolition down to the studs and then renovation. As part of the process, we procured multiple quotes. James and Derek provided a rough estimate on the spot and then gave us the most transparency through the contract. They were quick to work with and get the contract sorted and signed. Pricing was fair and competitive. Once the project started, communication was great. Our project went on longer than anticipated as we added multiple things in the middle and worked with Boston's inspection process and they were always great managing the project, the contacts, subs, etc. They worked with at each step to ensure we were happy with how things were progressing. James was hands-on throughout the entirety of the project - from start to finish. His attention to detail is fantastic - particularly in the tile work, which was beautiful (despite us having a complicated pattern request). Toward the end of the project, he worked weekends and stayed late to we could get things done within a certain timeline. At one point in the project there was a hiccup from one of the specialists and Derek immediately reached out to us to ensure they would take care of everything. Totally seamless and I really appreciated that their long relationships with the people they worked with gave us security we wanted for the job as a whole. Totally trustworthy and thoughtful around all our kids, pets, home, and yard. They clearly put a lot of thought into the contract which includes all details, so be sure you understand what the finished product will be so there are no surprises. Always happy to answer questions - very helpful team. We've recommended to friends already and would definitely work with again"
