The most important thing was he discovered a serious problem with the way my water heater was vented. The exhaust pipe had been cut wrong and glued together. It was ready to come apart and could have vented carbon monoxide into the basement. (We do have CO detectors but this is still scary) We had this water heater installed a couple of years ago by another well known local firm that I don't know if I can name here. "Our water heater stopped working suddenly on Easter Sunday in the morning. My husband called Roto-Rooter. A repairman came to our house about an hour later. He said that he needed to get another man to help him. The two repairmen returned to our house about 2 hours later.
