"Derek at Arch masonry and restoration and his crew recently repaired and rebuilt my nearly 100 year old front steps and landing. Prior to the repair my bricks were cracked, broken and the concrete treads were incorrectly pitched and trapping water against the house. The crew at Arch repaired and replaced well over 100 bricks and repointed the remaining brick and installed beautiful granite treads. Bobby and Dave the masons were incredible! Always arriving on schedule to begin the work day, very informative during the construction phase, and leaving the job site spotless at the end of the day. If you hadnâ t seen them working during the day you wouldnâ t have known there was an active masonry project going on in the evening! Derek the owner is great at communicating throughout the project. Wether it be the type of materials, the stages of the project and informing you of what is happening and what is the next step, or when the weather turned to rain and they werenâ t going to be able to work, itâ s fantastic to know exactly whatâ s happening to your project! They scheduled the work a week later and arrived as scheduled working on both projects simultaneously. They kept me up-to-date on the progress. A major problem was found with the stairs and they discussed possible solutions. Estimate for the additional work was given immediately. The work was completed in 2 days with beautiful results. The crew did a great clean-up job after they were done. I would definitely recommend them."

"After having been left in a bit of a mess by a previous contractor, we decided not to continue with it, we contacted Shamrock Chimney and explained the unfortunate situation we found ourselves in. Within three days, Corey and Frank had arrived to attack our problem. Corey was astounded at what he found; a torn liner, like one of those in a clothes dryer and dozens of bricks, some removed unnecessarily, scattered on the ground. He quoted us a price, not a lot less than our original contractor had, but we were in desperate straits and had no times to get additional estimates. He said there was a lot more work to do than we had expected and showed us why. He and Frank started work on Thursday and by Saturday noon had, miraculously to us, completed the whole repair and cleaned up the mess we had been left with. We now have two new stainless-steel liners and chimney caps and a rebuilt chimney. I rated the work quality as 5.0 but, having read reviews of other chimney repairs, hope the work will, last and have no reason to expect otherwise. As for 4.0 for value for the money: estimates of chimney repair charges are all over the place on the internet, so it is hard to judge. Corey told me he had taken our plight into consideration when setting a price. Based on our interaction, I have no reason to doubt him. In sum, we found ourselves in a totally chaotic situation on one Saturday, but by the next everything was back to normal or better even.
