I found that United Freight's rates were extremely competitive and were one of the very few companies that could guarantee a three-window in which the vehicle would be shipped. Their online tools could use some updating but I got my down payment receipt and document copies all emailed to me which I appreciated. I would have liked a message letting me know they had picked up the vehicle, but the dealership let me know. I was notified when the delivery was an hour away and when they arrived at my location. Overall, I wanted an insured company that could safely transport my vehicle in a timely manner and they did exactly that. My car was scratch-free and looked flawless. "The project was started on 10/7/13, Dave (owner) came out and introduced me to both of his workers. He explained the project in detail, had them put up plastic sheets in the adjoining doorway outside the bathroom to minimize the dust. He also had them cover and protect the floors leading from the bathroom to the front door leading outside. These were always cleaned and removed at the end of each day and put down again the following day. Both workers were very professional throughout the remodel. <br /> This bathroom is in a much older home (approx 1948). It must have been given a slight facelift some time in the 60's so it was in desperate need of some serious work. The walls had old yellow tile going about halfway up the wall. These were all removed and floated, then painted. They turned out very nice. The corner of this bathroom had a old built in shower, I cannot begin to tell you how bad of shape it was in. This was gutted along with the plumbing all the way down to the wall studs. Once the old shower was removed we noticed there was some water damage to the floor surrounding the shower pan. Up until that point we were going to just make some surface repair to the existing tile floor and lay down a new vinyl floor. Dave came back in to take a look at the floor and reevaluate the plan. He told me that he wanted to make sure things were done the right way and that consisted of tearing the remaining floor out, replacing the damaged wood, then installing a new sub-floor to bring it back to it's original height. He was absolutely right. Not only did the floor turn out beautiful but it also created a good solid foundation for the new shower unit, new toilet and new sink. <br /> It's a shame that I cannot post before and after pictures because the transformation was incredible. This was a project that I had been planning for several years. It was worth the wait, Dave and his crew did not disappoint."

"All items accomplished per discussion with service writer. The items were in response to an energy audit performed by Northeastern REMC, a free service to their customers. It took the workers a bit longer to accomplish all the work, but they didn't shortcut anything. In fact, they found an area that wasn't discussed while foaming the common wall and took care of it as well, as it just made sense to include it. I tipped each of the installers for their extra help. <br /> I could easily tell the comfort difference in every area they'd hit, both during the winter and the subsequent summer. I just hired them to fix another problem with the fireplace area that's been difficult to diagnose and look forward to them resolving the problem. <br />"
