They cut out sections of dry rot from the eves and other areas, repaired the damage, caulked and painted. They also repaired the patio, replacing two badly rotted beams including the main patio support beam. The did not drip or splash paint on brick walkways or patio and cleaned up every day before leaving. I would hire them again for any home maintenance or addition project."

"Monroy's was great! The wood floors throughout our entire home were flooded and had to be torn up, along with portions of our walls which were wet as well. Because we were dealing with potential mold growth, as well as lead and asbestos in the building materials because it is an older home, we were very nervous about making sure the job was done right. We had initially started to contract with two other companies, then had to back out because we did trust them to do the job right and/or try to charge us more money than we agreed upon. Daniel and his dad were always available to answer our questions, were upfront about all of the pricing and presented us with different options. "The contracted the work off to a third party. Jon took longer than expected. The windows was installed pretty good from the looks. Communication could have been better with knowing the job will take longer and what types of trims I wanted for the windows. As the contractor that was hired for this job by this company. Did a good job with putting up decent trim. As for the new windows they look great. I purchased the myself and hired sentri homes to install them. I will need to have a my siding on my house redone to be closer to the new windows so the gaps are not so obvious. That was not expected at first. But from old storm windows and not knowing how they were put in originally. There was some unknown things that was learned from the job being completed. I will have the siding of the house slightly done to match really good for what I wanted later on. My only concern is better communication with sentri homes. Overall they were great when I did talk to them."

The in house designer was creative, detail oriented person, and great listener to all our questions and concerns. The workers were always on time, very nice people, and they respected our house and family. The office staff (Paul) were very professional as well and they always informed us with anything relating to orders, payments etc... Not only was the kitchen project changed our house completely, but the ceilings, floors and walls were completely modified throughout the house to ensure the kitchen flowed properly with the rest of the house. Nir did a perfect remodeling job by bringing all the pieces together and made it a complete success."

"He caught a problem with one of the parts in the faucet. Instead of replacing that part and telling me, because the problem still existed, I asked for a plumber to come out. He didn't communicate that to me so I had to end up spending more money to correct the problem, which it was more simplified if he would have communicated to me and all that should have been done was those 2 small parts which would have been much more less expensive. When I did speak to the plumber within the 30 days of the work guarantee, he kind of blamed me for it and I didn't like that. I told him it should have been resolved just off of the strength that the work was guaranteed for 30 days and it was the lack of communication on his part.
As far as the electrical work, I am satisfied with the electrical work. The only thing I am not satisfied with is the extractor fan ventilator in the bathroom because it has the same problem with the moisture. I don't know if the air is being extracted out or not.
The getting back is not that fast. It takes 3 days to a week for work that needs to be done.
The price was a little exorbitant."

"Tom Cohen and Joe Sapir were great. They went through the possibilities and options with us, including what we could do with our budget and possibilities for financing. We bought our house as part of a repossessed hillside property, and we had to buy it in "as is" condition with decades of deferred maintenance. We had chipped away at fixing up the interiors over the past ten years, and were ready for a major (and long overdue) overhaul of the exteriors. The house is 1,200 square feet, but the garage is basically two stories with the living area on the third floor. That means a lot of stucco to repair and a lot of surface to paint. We needed new windows to replace the 50-year old ones that were original with the house, along with a new front door and sliding glass door in the back. This included expanding the size of the windows so that they were bigger (and actually up to code). The insulation in the attic was very old and needed to be replaced as well. Our garage door was dented (by a previous owner) and needed to be replaced along with the motor. Our back porch was falling apart, and we needed that repaired and painted. Our back yard had little privacy and was too hot to spend much time in for most of the year, so we also had them put in a large alumawood patio cover that extends over the porch and most of the yard (to the edge of our garden). It was important to us not to just pick a "low bid" contractor and instead to get a company that would do the work with high-quality materials and skilled crews with proper insurance and quality guarantees. We wanted this to be the last major overhaul we have to do on the exteriors of this house. The crews that came to do all of the work were very skilled, and worked with us to make sure they were doing exactly the work we wanted. Each phase of the project went quickly and efficiently, with prompt inspections and "touch-ups" afterwards to make sure everything was done well. Tom and Joe were very responsive and communicated well with us throughout the projects. We are very happy with the work, and we got our money's worth."
