"Bob came to our home to give us a quote for the work and was very friendly and professional. The quote was a little higher than the over-the-phone estimates I received from a few other companies but we prefer not to use larger franchise companies for home repairs. When we decided to move forward with Bob's Home Repair, he scheduled us about 3-4 weeks out. He called the next week and said he could fit us in much earlier. He contracted the work out to a man ( I can't remember his name) who spoke very highly of Bob and his business. The man was very friendly and did great work. He was thorough and polite and made sure to communicate with us about what repairs he made. He gave us some pointers in regard to the repairs that will be very helpful when we replace our roof down the road. He had to use a roof jack because our roof is very steep and there is not much traction with our older shingles. He sealed up any holes that he had to make to install the roof jack. He made sure to answer all of our questions and was pleasant to deal with. The dormer window now looks better than it did when we bought the house 8 months ago. <br />"

"Short version: Excellent work and would use him again. <br /> Long version: <br /> If a person will tolerate what might appear to be a complete disregard for organization, losing information, etc, and can stick with it even after you are wondering if giving him the deposit might have been a bad idea, you will not be disappointed. My wife and I were hoping that his work would make up for the initial lack of professionalism and it did. ...And then some! He and his crew went above and beyond what we expected. His crew was polite and worked hard. He had them paying attention to every little detail whether it was repairing some siding, gutter or fascia, caulking every little hole/seam or the painting itself. I'm guessing his guys are detail oriented anyway. Honestly, look for a 'greenish' house on N. 127th street between Ogden and Ellison streets, east side and when you see a great looking house (that was previously half-rotted around the fascia and crappy gutters with dark and ugly paint along with some damaged siding) that was made great looking, that's us!
