"I am sooooo sorry I had this company do the work to our home due to a hail storm. They cut corners everywhere imaginable and when I called then out on the terrible work they did on the aluminum wraps on the garage door and windows all they did was go crazy with A LOT of caulk. (instead of removing the damaged ones and put new on they tried to stick a piece on top) They were supposed to come out ....with one of the bosses....to see what I am talking about.....but that is been several weeks and no one has been here. So it's looking like I have to go elsewhere and hire someone that knows what they are doing to come fix their mess. I can only hope the shingles were put on correctly...but after the work on the wraps I'm actually worried."

The first initial consult with Justin was great, he handled our project with such great communication and keeping us informed and updated on the schedule. He came out the day before the install when the materials were delivered to make sure it was all onsite and ready for the guys the next day, he then came back the next morning to get the guys all set up and going on the project and also touch base with my wife and I. He also then came back at the end of the day to make sure everything had been completed and cleaned up. The cleanliness of the workers and their preparation of the site is unmatched, they tarped every area outside to minimize debris and went around and the end of the day and picked up any and all loose nails and debris that might not of made it into the dumpster. They also took the time to blow off all the surfaces when they were complete. They really value your home as if it was their own and that really shows in their work and project management. While technically possible in some situations, installing new shingles over existing ones is not recommended by roofing professionals. This approach adds considerable weight to your roof structure, prevents proper inspection of the underlying deck, and may create moisture issues. Many building codes limit homes to a maximum of two roofing layers, requiring complete removal before new installation if that limit has been reached.
Your local climate significantly impacts both installation requirements and long-term performance. Performance-wise, three-tab shingles have lower wind resistance ratings compared to premium options, making them less suitable for hurricane-prone regions.
