The workman (Andy) came to my home on a Tuesday morning (8am sharp) to clean the gutters and power-wash the deck, and then returned on Thursday morning (8am sharp) to apply the deck stain. He helped me choose which type and color of stain would be most effective and durable, then did a careful job with the work and cleaned up everything afterward. My formerly faded, shabby-looking deck now looks brand new again."

"I have been around the block and have had my fair share of dealings with construction companies... I know that writing this review, still wouldn’t give out enough credit and praise to this FABULOUS company! The owner Mark and his assistant Cody, first came to our home and went through all the windows that should be replaced... I knew they were an honest company and wasn’t out to take advantage of us in the least bit... After they assessed the windows that needed replacing, I asked about some of the others to see if we should replace... The answer we were given was; why would you want to waste your money, these other windows and sliding door are in great shape!… Wow!, was that ever refreshing to hear. In addition to that, we had asked if they would be interested in doing more exterior work for us; replacing some of the old wood around the house. They figured out what was rotting and replaced it with painted new wood. This company came out, and while working, they might notice something small that needed to be sealed up or fixed even... They didn’t have to do the little extras, but guess what... They did and did an OUTSTANDING JOB!!… We will NEVER, hire another company to come out and do our windows or projects. I am a long lifer with this company from here on out -Couldn’t be happier. The job went fast, the guys, Tom, Alex, Jimmy, and Cody were there on time, considerate beyond belief . They made certain that the property was clean after every single day and made sure we were happy with every single thing that was going in and on for all those days. When the projects were finished, they came back out and rehung our blinds back up. I must also mention that Tom, can custom build and trim out around posts and windows like I’ve never seen... But, he did have his helpers to assist, and for that, I am sure that that’s why and how he can do such great work. Jimmy, Alex, and Cody, BIG THANK YOU to all of you guys to. "Just over a month ago, I contacted two contractors from Angies List. Both replied quickly to my request for a consultation. We were trying to get a desperately needed remodel of my brother's bathroom & front porch repairs! This had to be done before he was released from the hospital...To say this was a rush job would be an understatement! The first contractor Zac, from Design Renovations, met with me and my sister at my brother's home.... Even though Zac appeared quite young,( we're old ),he was obviously extremely knowledgeable. He patiently answered tons of questions from two very stressed out sisters. Zac promised to get back to us quickly with an estimate. Luckily, he and his crew were working on another big project but had some wiggle room while waiting for materials. Fortunately, Zac and owner Rob?s, estimate came back that night and we were relieved that it was well within our budget....We chose to go with Rob and Zac over the other contractor as they were the perfect fit for us! Zac kept in constant contact throughout this project. He gave us a list of everything we needed to choose from Lowes or Home Depot, giving us full rein on design within our budget. We only paid for supplies needed at the beginning of the job and added to an ?escrow account? at Lowes as Zac & crew moved on to the next phase. All in all, it took 16 days exactly to get everything on our list completed. This included a complete demo on bathroom, installing a handicap friendly walk in shower, porch repairs, and a few other small projects...Rob & Zac went over every detail of the work that was done. Even explaining what future upkeep would be required for the tile, etc. The transformation was breathtaking. Our brother?s bathroom now looks like a spa! The repairs made on his front porch made it safe and secure...my brother could safely come home! We were pleased beyond words with Design Renovations work. They came in on budget, kept me updated continuously and left the job site spotless. When our brother came home from the hospital he was speechless! It was far better than he could?ve imagined! He?ll be using Design Renovations for his kitchen remodel in the near future. We highly recommend Rob, Zac and anyone that works for their fantastic company. Bravo men! Five stars!! <br />"

"The replacement of the door went phenomenal. Tom and his team were on time and very professional. He was able to salvage our trim and door knob from the original door, which was very much appreciated. He saved us some money that way! He was able to come out to fix the door immediately which was very helpful as we were losing heat during the winter time. He repainted the door and all of the trim and made sure the door was shimmed appropriately to fit the frame. The door works great and looks like it was the original construction. <br />"

"I met up with Michael to give him a 50% deposit and we actually sat and talked for a few hours. He gave my girlfriend and I TONS of helpful advice about repairing houses and even advice on my rental property. He showed up right on time and completed all of his work with LIGHTNING SPEED. What would have taken many CONtractors weeks to do, he was able to do in about 8 hours! I will hire Michael again and again for any work I need done, whether it be on my investment properties, or on my personal residence. He is a man of his word and is extremely skilled. I also hired him because he is a church-attending Christian who loves his family and has the utmost reliability and integrity, which are qualities that are very important to me, especially since I've been burned so many times in the past by other contractors. In a very short time, I've gotten to be very good friends with Michael, and I look forward to a long and prosperous relationship with him for many years to come. I was actually getting ready to spend over $8,000 on plumbing and drywall and he actually talked me out of getting a lot of work done that was unnecessary, that the other CONtractors tried to get me to hire them for. I ended up spending only $2,850 with Michael, with a total savings $5,150!!! He is definitely my go-to guy!!!"

"I called Mr.Robertson about a very large and heavy closet door that I was afraid would come crashing down because one of the hinges had broken. He arrived at my house in about an hour, fixed the door quickly and was gone. I loved that he responded so quickly and seemed very honest and did not make the repair complicated. He is my new Handyman, for sure! <br />"

"Rick at Independent Painters was fantastic to work with. He was prompt in setting up a quote for the work I wanted done on my home and was out to my home within a few days to survey the job. I asked to have the aluminum siding, wood flashing, and wood pillars of my home power washed and painted. He was easy to work with, friendly, and knowledge about the work to be done and the products that his company would use. Within a few weeks, one of his workers, Steve, come to my home complete the job. Steve was also wonderful. Over the course of the four days of work, he was thorough in tending to minor repairs needed in the wood and siding before painting, thoroughly cleaned the siding, and was very precise and careful with application of the paint. Steve did not stain or drip any paint, and did not leave a mess. He applied smooth and even coats, with no drips or marks in the painted services. I was allowed to review the work prior to payment and Steve was very accommodating in attending to minor adjustments that I asked for. Overall, Independent Painters did wonderful work, and as they also do interior painting, I have requested that Rick provide a quote for some interior work that needs to be done this fall."
