"This is a family run business. They were wonderful. Jose bid on the job and was ready to start within a week. He gave me a great quote. Negotiated a price but I gave him a $200 tip as they were clean, friendly, courteous, and respected my property. They taped everything that they needed to tape for painting. They even replaced soffit light bulbs that I supplied at no cost.They also replaced a 6 x 6” banister on my front steps and painted it and it is professionally done. I’m very happy with their work. "Someone came out to check our interior and exterior walls. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He said there were no major leaks in the mortar that were visible and the leaks were most likely coming from behind the gutter. He explained that the gutter would need to be removed, meaning I would need to hire a roofer since they do not deal with gutters or roofing and that I would end up paying for two jobs. He suggested instead that I find a roofer that would remove the gutter who was skilled enough to do the necessary tuckpointing to save us money. He also looked at the interior damage and told us the materials to buy because we said we wanted to repair that ourselves. He was extremely helpful and gave us the most economical suggestions rather than booking repairs with them and hiring a roofer. If we need work done to our masonry or foundation only in the future, I will definitely go with Hicon."

"My house 80 year old house is 1/2 brick and 1/2 stucco. When I noticed some water damage on one of my interior walls, I took a good look at the exterior of the house and realized that I had a lot of mortar that had eroded over the years and a section of stucco under a second floor  window which had cracked and pulled away from the house.
Grover came out to inspect the house and determine which sections of brick would need to be repaired. I really appreciate that he didn't just address the area of the house that was leaking. He went a step further and found every spot around the exterior where the mortar was breaking down. I'm sure that some people would have either ignored this step, or told me that they would have to tuck point the entire house which would have cost me a lot of money. Instead, I got every trouble spot on my house repaired and no unnecessary work done.
The stucco that he repaired looks amazing. He matched the original texture exactly. On top of all this, the price was very reasonable. I don't feel like I could have gotten a better deal for the work done.

"I paid for service including estimated amount of paint needed in advance to take advantage of a zero interest offer on my credit card. I was told at the time he had 2 houses in front of mine and would be working on mine within a few weeks. A few weeks go by and i hear nothing so i reach out to him asking for a schedule for the painting. No answers and after several attempts no response. I was ready to cancel the work but had already paid. I called my credit card agency and they suggested a send my request in writing. I then wrote angies list identifying my issue. That was helpful in that they were able to contact the painter and then he would promply call me. He finally finished the painting yesterday afternoon and was preparing to leave as i pulled in from work. I quickly surveyed the job and found two areas i was not satisfied with. He made excuses that it was due to my house something or other...bush in the way...weak wood and brushed it off. Had he offered to work on the spots to my satisfaction i would likely rate him higher but he was in a big hurry to leave. Not at all what i expected."

"Trino and his crew did an amazing job! They spent 4 days stripping and refinishing our two large mahogany front doors and they turned out beautifully. They carefully taped off the entire lower level and painted two coats to cover the existing darker paint color. The crew was prompt, tidy and professional. Trino is a nice, trustworthy and highly professional manager of his painting crew. I would highly recommend them for any painting or refinishing job inside our outside of your home or business."

"Robert McQuuen roofing expert, Roberto, came out on Sunday before the installation day Monday to drop off supplies and get prepared for the installation. I thought that was very professional and I was glad to go over everything with Roberto and he answered all my questions. The installation was all done in 1 day and the crew was very respectful of the property below the roof. They made sure not to damage flower beds, walkway lights, etc. around the property. My new roof looks beautiful. I'm very satisfied."
