"I had 4 companies come out, 2 of them stating I needed a sump pump without even looking outside, or listening to other solutions I had from from other contractors. I HIGHLIGHLY recommend Mastercraft Waterproofing They told me that I absolutely did NOT need a sump pump and it was an issue with the sealing on the outside of the chimney. Water was coming through one of the seams. This was the only company who looked inside and outside on my property. Their work has a lifetime guarantee for what I had done, and saved me $1,000. Tom and Rob are the owners and came out for the quote, and were the ones who did the work. Personable, professional, reliable and cannot recommend them enough. They sent a follow up email for additional recommendations long term, with pictures of the project from start to finish. "I have nothing but good things to say about Curt Guenther and Real Dry. This was a complicated project that was well-executed for a reasonable fee. I got a few quotes on the project before proceeding and had all kinds of conflicting advice and a lot of concern from the competing contractors on the difficulty and complexity of the work. Bear in mind that our crawlspace has four separate interior areas and while the height is reasonable at 3-4 feet, to get between the areas you need to crawl on hands and knees. Getting around, excavating, clearing debris is difficult. The floor is sand and rock, which is hard to level. None of the other contractors were willing do everything, so I would have had to break the job into multiple tasks, coordinating between multiple contractors, at greater expense. Curt signed on for the entire project. The work was all completed within a week by a large, competent, hard-working crew. They left no mess on the property. The interior of the crawlspace is now clean and, as promised, dry. All the foundation work is solid and professional. No concerns there at all. I installed a remote-sensing hygrometer to keep track of the humidifier. The hygrometer now reads consistently between 50 and 55% humidity, which is perfect for preserving the integrity of the wood structure. I can feel the dryness of the crawl space whenever I go in it. This was one of those big, scary projects that’s been on my to-do list for a long time and it's a tremendous relief to have it done, and done so well. As an added and unexpected benefit, our house doesn’t have mice anymore. They used to get in through the crawl space and now they can’t. I highly recommend Curt and his team for any project involving basements, crawl spaces, or foundations."

"Steve came right out and built dams on each side of the tree belt piping, using pebbles and earth. Again, a very creative and skilled solution. By the time the health inspector came out, our storm water was flowing right into the street storm sewer, as required. The inspector's only comment was "whoever did this knew what they were doing". So this firm has demonstrated over several years just how effective they are. They stand by their clients years after a job is completed, and possess knowledge and expertise to solve thorny problems. "aThe job went very well.  The team completed the job in about 5 days, which required jackhammering about 1' x 125' foot of material, disposing of the material via wheelbarrow to their truck, installing perforated pipe and crushed stone and then covering it all with concrete.  <br /> Since then I haven't had any water in the basement.   As a bonus they tied in my one of my gutter downspouts to the drain line that ran to the back of the property. <br /> I just recently joined Angie's List and had to make sure these guys commended for the great job they did."
