Light carpentry, Drywall installation, Drywall finishing , and 6 more
"I am very happy with the customer service and quality of work Don provided through the entire process. I hired him to refinish the drywall surfaces and prep for paint. This was a big job with a huge hiccup when he found bees had disintegrated the drywall in my ceiling. Once removed he moved quickly to finish the job as not to hold up future progress. The ceilings on the main floor were a mess so Don used a light texture to hide all the imperfections. I also plan to hire Don to refinish my kitchen cabinets when I get to that point in the remodel. Don really helped me out and was very easy to work with. I definitely recommend his services."

Additions and Remodels
"We first worked with Bentley on a custom shelving unit for our living room. He matched the stain I was looking for perfectly, and had great attention to detail. We have young kids and asked to have all of the edges rounded to avoid sharp corners. He did a wonderful job on this project, so we also decided to have him complete our front porch renovation ( custom posts, railing, staining, shutters, etc). We are very happy with the results. Highly recommend!"

Remodeling, Electrical, Handyman Services , and 2 more
"Husband For A Day helped us design and totally remodel our kitchen about 4 ½ years ago, installing new cabinetry, granite counter-tops, sink, floor tile, along with new appliances and some necessary re-plumbing. We could not have been happier with the price, the work, and the pleasant & efficient staff. We are still getting compliments on the final outcome. Recently, now 4 ½ years later, the laminate on one of the panels in our cabinetry began to bubble. All it took was one call to Husband for a Day, and they came by promptly examine the problem. When repair was ruled out, they were able to find an original replacement from the manufacturer (even though it was a discontinued product). Once delivered, they promptly installed it, and all at no additional cost to us. This company truly stands by its work. We highly recommend their services."

Interior painting makes for a doable DIY project. You can save some money and get a real sense of accomplishment by doing this yourself. And, with the right prep work – covering, taping and scraping – it’s fairly forgiving. But it takes a lot of time to move furniture, tape trim, prep the surface and cover your floor, let alone apply the actual paint. Instead, save yourself the time and hassle and find a local interior painter.
Leave exterior painting to the pros. Not only do you need to worry about the type and quality of the paint, you’ll also likely need a ladder and considerably more prep work. You’ll likely need additional equipment like ladders, scaffolding and possibly a paint sprayer. It’s almost cheaper to just hire a pro. Talk to a local exterior house painter about your project.
