"We had a blockage in our main sewer pipe under the basement floor. It turns out we had an old flood control gate that had collapsed. It was about 80% closed, so water was not able to get out of the house appropriately. I called several companies and not only was Robert's price reasonable, he was the most knowledgable and willing to talk through the issue and the solution. Robert, Phillip, and his crew were able to break up the concrete floor and replace the pipe despite the fact that it was encased in several feet of concrete and was located right near our fireplace. It was a bigger job than we anticipated due to the original pipe being encased in much more concrete than is typically used, but they were able to take care of everything without destroying the walls or fireplace. The new pipe was put in, and the hole was patched with cement. I can't say enough good things about the planning and work that Robert and his crew did. They were skilled and professional and a pleasure to do business with. Despite the large hole in the floor, the clean up was impressive. Half way through the process when we saw just how big and difficult the job was, I felt confident that we chose the right company. This problem could have been a lot worse, and I am glad we trusted Lincoln Sewer and Drainage to take care of it. They also noticed that our catch basin needed minor cement repair, and took care of that while they were here. "We have a 1920s bungalow with a cinderblock foundation and routine seepage issues.  Interior drain tile was also an option but with a partially finished basement, I think ultimately would have been more expensive after putting walls back together, etc..  And, personally i'd rather stop the water before it enters the house.  I felt as though i was getting the "cookie cutter" solution from the other highly rated angies list waterproofers and they definitely like to nickel and dime on their expensive battery backup systems.  Chuck spent a considerable more time at the house, didn't give us the BS sales presentation with all of the pamphlets, gave us a timely quote, and ultimately just made us feel the most comfortable.  
The job went very well and I wouldn't hesitate to use High Tech for additional jobs in the future.  Chuck is very professional and responsive, easy to work with.  It took a while to coordinate with the excavator which is subbed out, but we were in no big rush and everything worked out great.  The job took four days.  We've had some heavy fall rains and not a drop of water in the basement.

"The crew was on time, and very professional. 
I had a concrete floor in my crawlspace.  It was installed several years ago and I had been using it for storage.  The floor was sort of pealing and dusty, and there were a few cracks.  I was concerned about moisture coming through the concrete as well.
A Perfect Crawlspace was the only crawlspace company that had the spray on liner material, called Polyurea.  So instead of paint, they sprayed the polyurea IQ  right onto the concrete.  The product is awesome, and I was able to use it for storage as soon as they were done.  Dries in an instant and made the crawlspace look great!  They also sprayed closed cell foam insulation on the foundation and sill boxes to stop cold.  I expect to have warm feet this winter.  I wish I had this done sooner - I feel the difference already.  The musty smell is gone.  Im looking forward to using this on my garage floor as well in the near future.

"I know of no other contractor who has total customer satisfaction as his top priority like Mr. Flanagan does. He is absolutely the best.
My basement sustained ankle-deep water as the result of an outdoor basement stairwell drain that violently backed up because its circa-1951 drain line led to the street storm sewer (by design). That sewer was overcome with water during a storm in the summer of 2010 that featured a tornado in my western-suburbs area. Soon after pumping the water out of my basement with a mobile pump, the mess prompted me to (once again*) call Mr. Flanagan (*His crawlspace crew had done a beautiful job finishing my dirt-floor crawlspace with a concrete floor and wall insulation a couple of years earlier).
After the basement waterproofing project described in this review was complete, however, I was disappointed with the workmanship: The concrete work looked less-than-professional (out-of-flush with sump flange and the stairwell drain, plus way too many swirl marks and splattering) in the stairwell and basement's appearance areas. In short, it just didn't look like his business's flawless concrete job that was done in my crawlspace just years earlier.
Mr. Flanagan agreed. With no questions asked, he immediately had a different crew come to my home, tear out all of the previously laid concrete and drain lines and replace it with the workmanship that he would expect his crews to use in their own homes. The re-do of the project at least had met my high expectations for its cosmetics. And, of course, I hoped it was a sufficient waterproofing solution for my basement.
Fast forward just a few short years. Affter having perhaps sustaining that 100-year event with the Chicago-area rain storm of April 17-18, 2012, while my neighbors are pumping water out of their basements, mine remains bone dry. Thank you Mr. Flanagan and Crawlspace / Basement Waterproofing Solutions for a job (design and installation) well done. Your basement waterproofing solution indeed deserves an A+.

"This was our 2nd use of Pavercare and we remain a customer to this day!

TC, one of the owners of Pavercare, came out and surveyed what needed to be done.  He was exceptionally friendly and professional and put me at ease that they could get the job done right!

Gaspar and his crew arrived on-time and set to work removing the old bricks.  To my amazement, they actually bound our bushes up so they wouldn't be damaged and thinned out dead growth... as I have said in a previous review, they go far and above the norm in their service.

While they were working on my new walkway, another group quickly and expertly fixed my front walkway (installed by another contractor, some bricks had sank badly after only a couple years).  

When they were done, the curb appeal of our home had went up... it looked fantastic!  Definitely, a job well done and I will used them again for all paver-related projects.

THE AFTER STORY.

After a few days of the sidewalk being in place, you could see that there was a difference in the coloring our Series 3000 pavers from what we had originally and what Pavercare installed.  I let TC know and he came out and confirmed.  It was clearly an issue with Unilock's coloring.  At no additional charge, TC actually got a guy from Unilock to come and look at it.  He did some kind of acid wash that removes the haze associated with when they bake the bricks.  Sure enough, color matched!

Once again, customer service far beyond anything we have ever experienced with landscaping-related contractors. You should not go anywhere else other than Pavercare!
