"It went great! The company is very responsive. Jane was helpful and great to talk to while setting up the appointments and organizing schedules to get the work done. Jim, the technician, explained everything very clearly to me and gave options for the solution. He was efficient and professional. Jim even came out a day early to remove a dead animal which I appreciate immensely. I have used two other pest services over the years and Ampest did the best job."

"100% would recommend Mica from Plunkett’s to deal with your cockroach issues. We had roaches off and on for many months, despite a good cleaning regime etc., and eventually realized other units in our shared building had the same issues. Mica quickly and precisely diagnosed the source of the issue, was real with us about time and possible costs, worked with us in coordinating multiple units, patiently answered all questions, and in the end helped my neighbors and I deal with this extremely persistent issue in a relatively short time frame. He approached treatment with a lot of care and thought, in particular listening and adjusting for our concerns re: safety of our young toddler. This was a big one for us! Plunkett’s was a bit more expensive than some other pest control companies we looked at, but neighbors had already tried multiple other services and it never got rid of the issue. In the end, it was probably cheaper than multiple ineffective treatments, but more importantly we haven’t seen a roach in several months."

"It went well as usual. The contractor sprays around the house and, when needed, in the basement and main floors to control insects and mice. We have had no problems with pests since hiring Ready Pest Control. <br />"

"First off let me state that their price is competive/in line with other companies in area and some are much higher. AWAE was one of several companies I called and they were the only ones willing to come out the same day. Because the squirrel was on the ledge they set live traps. They called the next day to reassure me that due to the weather not to be worried that the squirrel hadn't taken the bait. I got home late that day and did not get a chance to call them back like they asked. On the third day they called again and I was able to return their call late in the afternoon. They were concerned that I still didn't have results and sent Tom back out even though it was very late in the day. I really appreciated that. Tom was professional and resourceful in capturing my squirrel. I wanted him let go in my yard but Tom was right to talk me out of it. In reviewing my past records I used this same company ten years ago. The price was a bit higher but the quick response, professsionalism and the positive outcome were the same. I hope I don't ever have to use a pest control service again!! but I will definately call AWAE if I need to and I recommend them. Thank you Tom I really appreciate how quick your responses are! <br />"

"Due to recent animal invasion, i was looking for proofing services. I called Steven after finding him on angies' list and he answered the call right away, patiently listened to my issue, promised to come the following day. <br /> He did come the next morning, gave me honest opinion, he even went extra mile to make some good suggestions on the repair work needed to be done but not in his service area. <br /> I really appreciated Steven's professionism and honesty, will refer him to anyone who needs animal removal or prevention service that Steven offers. <br />"

"Nice guy, very efficient.  Knew exactly where best places were to apply treatment.  Provided some education about our particular issue.  Within a week the ant problem was completely gone.  This may be an annual event for us not sure since this was the first time for us using a pest control specialist.  But if it is, it's certainly worth the $100.  Problem is completely gone for now. <br />"

"Chicago's Green Trappers Bats… Do you think you have bats in your attic? Have you had a few in your house? Or seen them flying around your house around dusk? I had a small colony of bats in my attic and let me tell you it is no laughing matter… not something to put off as it can lead to MAJOR property damage and worse potentially the death of you or your family. Growing up my favorite comic book hero was Batman, just a regular guy trying to do what is right in honor of his parents. But the ugly truth to that story is Bruce Wayne had needed all that money for all the rabbis shots he must have had to get hanging out in that cave all the time. These guys are the real Bat Men! So real quick let's go over some facts, health risks, and property damage risks… Bat colonies are comprised of females, the males live out on their own, and because of this the colony can more than double each year. Bats are the main carriers of rabies, and most cases of rabies in America are caused by bats. Their teeth are very small and you won't always know if you've been bitten. In one of the situations where a bat got into my house, I woke up to a bat flying around my room. Do you have a baby or toddler? Your baby won't know if it's been bitten and won't be able to tell you either way. In the end that bat got away from me and I never found it so I couldn't get it checked for rabies. You see what I am getting at? So in the end I had to get a series rabies shots as a precaution because I had been exposed (Which is a lot more than what these guys are asking for their work) and I ended up sleeping in my tent in my living room for a couple weeks. If you start showing signs of rabies it is too late and you are pretty much going to die so do not wait if you are exposed to a bat or bitten! Only 6 people have ever survived rabies after showing signs of the disease. Additionally bats carry fleas and mites and guano can give you Histoplasmosis, a lung disease, elderly and babies are easily effected by Histoplasmosis. Property damage you ask? All sorts! Bats urine can erode wood, their guano can accumulate and the weight can cave in the ceiling below your attic. Dead bats caught in your walls will eventually rot and smell rancid. Depending on where in the wall the bat has died you might have to cut a chunk of your wall out. I can go on but you get the idea… Another surprising fact is that we need bats! Yes they can be a headache but the environment needs bats to eat the 1200 mosquitoes and beetles they can eat each night. So yes bats are essential to our environment and they are protected by law. So the only humane way to take care of a colony of bats is by putting in "exclusion doors" so the bats can exit but not get back in. Has to be done before or after the colony of bats has their babies. You DO NOT want to try using poison, as it is illegal and will only make the problem much worse! Also sonic sound machines don't do anything. Walking around my house Jerry pointed out each entry spot that he saw- and I honestly had no idea what he was pointing at, I had to have him point and explain where exactly he was looking. I would never have seen any of these entries as a bat can squeeze into a hole a quarter inch in size. So in conclusion I strongly recommend you call Chicago's Green Trappers they are absolutely worth calling, for peace of mind and so you don't have to spend even more money on rabies shots for you and your family or the eventual property damage a colony of bats can cause. I recommend these guys for their knowledge, experience, expertise, and humane methods."

"I bought a deal and called them to schedule service. Before they even came out they were able to help me determine the proper type of rodent control. Though they were not able to help me in this case. They saved me money by offering their time over the phone and email to figure out that their services could not help me."
