A month ago, I needed some major worked done to my house, from siding, soffits, new gutters, brick work. I decided to get some quotes from some contractors around the area. Residential Facelift quote was by far the most competitive of all the contractors. I was a little skeptical at first but I have to say they did a great job on my house.

The owner, Robert Fugate, really wants the customer to be happy with the work and will do whatever it takes to get the job done right. I was very surprised that I could call/text him anytime and he responded very quickly.

"Overall, I was pleased with their work and professionalism.  We had issues during the installation as there was a mix up in communication between us and them on the exact color of the sashes that we ordered.  However, that was probably a lot of our fault as well.  They worked with us that day to figure out a go forward plan that was acceptable to both parties.  I thought the Windows they installed and their work were top notch.  They were really good at communicating with us and where there when they said they would be there.  Would definitely use them again and would consider using them for a new house as well instead of relying on builder grade windows and installation issues.

"Ronnie was very professional, friendly, arrived on time, was very easy to get in touch with, and did a very good job with the painting. He worked with me to schedule the job around the Christmas holidays (23rd, 24th, and 26th). Despite some issues with the Benjamin Moore paint we were using, he went above and beyond what was necessary to make me happy. "Called Bama's Best on a Friday to request an estimate to replace all of the gutters and downspouts on my house. They came out the same day to provide the estimate. They took the time to understand what we wanted and also recommended that we add two additional downspouts. The price was fair so we went ahead and scheduled them for Monday morning. The crew showed up on time and got right to work and finished the job in just a few short hours. The old gutters were left for another person to pick-up which was done that afternoon. Very satisfied with the results. I won't hesitate to recommend them to family and friends.

"Over all it was OK.  I was not happy with how much time I had to spend picking up trash after they left - from strips of sharp metal, to dozens of screws every day for a week (literally), to their snack wrappers and drink cans every evening.  The house had been painted a few months prior to the roof job and they managed to gouge several pieces of newly painted wood from the sides of the house.  I was told it would not mildew and 2 years later it has and needs a cleaning.  Had they been honest about that, I would have gone with a darker color.

"First time job was done very well and all painters were very professional.  We selected a color from a little sampler which you couldn't tell what color it really was and when the job was finished the room looked pink, which wasn't going to work.  My wife was very unhappy about the way the color turned out so the owner was asked to repaint it and we would pay him and purchase our own paint.  He wasn't very happy but agreed to for a set amount.  The second crew had only one of the original painters with them and they did a much worse job by not covering the floor and so we had to clean up paint drippings, they left wide paint brush strokes next to trim on the walls and one of the workers used the bathroom and left it in a mess.  When we confronted the owner with our findings he became belligerent and said we didn't know what we were talking about and then stormed out the door.  We tried to find out what he was going to do to correct the problem and he would never answer our phone calls.  Later we went to the BBB he said he would talk with us about the problem but by that time we had our fair share of the nonsense so we have never settled the issue and to this date we refuse to deal with the owner again."
