"This co. installed a new sprinkler system due to us having a pool built in our backyard. We also had artificial turf installed in the backyard, so we only needed sprinklers on the sides of the house, in the front and of course the flowerbeds. At least 4 different irrigation companies either couldn’t do the job, or promised to give me a quote and never even bothered to show up. Because of the pool build and turf install, our previous sprinkler system could not be reached and/or used, so a new sprinkler system had to be installed. After selecting the system I wanted, Mr. Woods crew came out and in one day installed my new sprinkler system. "We just purchased a new home and had not yet used the sprinkler system. We had been told by another company that our system didn't work because we needed to replace the controller box. On May 1, I called Richard Irrigation from Angie's List for a second opinion. Sergio returned my call promptly, and was able to come out that same day. Upon inspection, he found that there was NO FUSE in the controller box! He inserted a new fuse, and the panel lit up. He told us that although the box was an older model, it was still operating. He proceeded to check all stations, and although some fine tuning was necessary, each was operating. I wasn't happy with the massive amounts of mist wasting away into the air, and Sergio suggested the Hunter pressure regulated heads that deliver more droplets and less mist. He alerted me up front that they were expensive - same with the newer Rainbird pressure regulated rotors. We arranged for the replacement of 23 heads and 6 rotors to be installed on May 3. <br /> On May 3 Sergio promptly arrived on time, and came with a crew of 3 workers. They all worked together like a well-oiled machine! Besides installing the new heads, another pipe needed to be fixed, and 2 more heads were capped. Sergio then ran each station and adjusted all heads and rotors to maximize efficiency. Finally, he took the time to show me the ins/outs of the controller box while I took notes. I was also left with a detailed invoice, which I appreciate. We still need a few more rotors to complete the system, and I will have Richard Irrigation come out again. I highly recommend this company. Note: The price reflects the total of the 2 visits - 5-6 hours of labor and materials. <br />"
