"I had stainless steel chimney liners put in two properties I own, and one of them also needed to have the chimney rebuilt from the roof up. One of the liners in particular was very difficult because there were 2 gas boilers and 2 gas hot water heaters exhausting up the chimney, with low head height in the basement and a small flue. They had to custom make connectors to get everything to fit, but they ended up getting it done! I found pricing to be reasonable, I received another quote as well and went with Metrowest because they seemed very knowledgeable and the pricing was competitive."

He described the repair (installation of a stainless steel tube inside the chimney) and emailed a quote with accompanying photos of the view from the roof down and at the bottom. He said he had several installations lined up and wasn't sure when those would be cleaned up. Fortunately for me, he had a cancellation and was able to do the work. "The work was done summer of 2011. 08/01/11 is pick -a-date. I don't feel like going to find the paperwork. <br /> The majority of the work was removing the rotted basement and replacing the window frames. <br /> They replaced all 4 windows. Water is no longer streaming from behind the frames when it rains or snow melts. <br /> The company people are professional and very cordial. They explained every thing they did and showed it too me. <br /> April 2013, I noticed a horse  shoe shaped crack in one of the basement windows. I called AAA. They came  out <br /> and identified the crack as a stress crack. They replaced the window at no charge. <br /> At the same time in April 2013, I was concerned with my roof. It does not leak  and the north facing front has lichen  <br /> growing on it. I think his name is Sean. Sean told me how to get rid of the mold and lichen with water and bleach. <br /> I do not need a new roof. <br /> I hope my son likes climbing on roofs because I am not going up there.  <br /> I requested an estimate to replace all my front gutters and than all the gutters. <br /> We walked around the house together to identify what I wanted. <br />  Sean provided me with 2 estimates. One for just the front and the other for the whole house. <br /> I have decided to do it next year because this year I need a new hot water heater. <br /> if I financially can, I will have the front done b4 winter. <br /> They are not pushy. Definitely not window replacement sales people. <br /> <br />"

"After dealing with a complete scam artist at a different chimney company I called George at 330 PM regarding a draft issue with my furnace flue. He was currently at another job site and informed me that he would come right out as soon as he was done. He showed up 45 minutes later and had my furnace flue issue resolved within another 20. He then inspected the rest of my fireplace and chimney and made recommendations as to what work needed to be done, but never attempted to pressure me into having him complete the work as the last guy had done. George was honest and hard working. I plan on hiring him again soon for my clogged fireplace damper."
