"Our old house has found a new best friend in Claudio...I called late at night when the problem first happened and by the next morning he had returned my call and found a  way to schedule an appointment for that day. If we could give  him a rating of 10 stars we would---he was punctual, professional and the quality of his work was excellent (as well as his prices) .. I'm a little intimidated by electrical problems-- but he made it seem so easy and not difficult at all! We have also asked him to install an outdoor security light for my mother who lives with us-- we felt assured by his advice as to what kind of light and where  and how to have it installed. "<p>Mr. Dove didn't do the work.  It was two of his employees or subcontractors.  The installation of the wiring, ceiling fan and ceiling light went fine, but the drywall repair wasn't that good.  The texture they sprayed on the walls didn't even remotely match the existing wall texture, so their patch job was obvious.  Also, they didn't reconnect something in one of the outlets so only the top socket worked.  When I notified Mr. Dove, he came out the next day to fix it.  I was impressed by Mr. Dove's professionalism, and would hire him again provided he did the work.  </p> <br />"

"I called to set up an appointment for redesigning our backyard.  He came to our house at the scheduled time exactly.  He is a remarkably kind and gentle person.  My wife and I had a general idea of what we wanted, but we were pretty flexible and open to new ideas.  After an initial conversation about what we were looking for, he went to the backyard and spent a while back there.  Afterwards, he came inside and went over the entire plan with us with drawn out plans.  He designed the entire project with a lot of detail, with some great ideas, both big and small, that we never would have though of ourselves.  The amount of detail he gave was incredible given the amount of time he spent on it (a total of 3 hours).  He even laid out where to put specific plants, landscape lights, etc.  He gave input on colors and styles.  Looking at the final product, now that it is completed, it looks better than we ever imagined it would.  We've gotten a lot of great comments, including one saying how well thought out the project was.  A lot of that credit goes to Andy. <br />"

"The electrician arrived a bit early, and was fast, clean, and efficient doing the installations. He cleaned up after himself, and showed me how to replace the light bulbs in the new light fixtures. The finished work looks great. This is a very old house and he really respected the spirit of the place (which hasn't always been the case with workmen here.) I am so happy with this job and I am definitely keeping their business card."

He arrived on time and worked within the time frames discussed beforehand. They also helped me diagnose a problem with an electrical outlet (but did not fix it, because that was work well outside the scope of what I asked them for, so I requested they leave it alone for now -- but I'll hire them back to fix it later)."

Peace of Mind just finished installing battery backup for the Solar Panels they installed five years ago. I will not write the same things that most people have already written. There are plenty of people that sing praises regarding this business. Read those reviews and believe them! I will qualify myself by stating that I have a background teaching Vocational Education that has enabled me to do my own work during my life time. But, at my age I look for knowledgeable people that are quality oriented and honest. This is what you get at Peace of Mind Electrical and Solar. Since I have been hiring help, I want a Licensed Contractor. I am retired and have the time to research and vet who I hire. I am confident you will not find better in our area for all of your Electrical needs. No job to big or too small this company does it all. Respectfully Submitted, Micheal Please take the time to read this: THIS IS WHAT I WROTE FOR YELP FIVE YEARS AGO I believe that what readers of reviews want to hear first: I interviewed the three companies that you constantly hear on Southern California radio: two of the three reminded me of the old-time car salesmen. From Josh at Peace of Mind Electric, I got the best price with better panels. Several years ago, I watched his team install solar on the house just below mine. What I saw was a very professional group of young men that knew what needed to be done and did it. The job was 40 panels split between the house and patio roof. House roof panels were flat but the patio installation had to be angle-mounted in order to get the most from the sun. I was impressed and asked for a card. He said, "Call the boss last he will beat anyone." He was right--a better price with high-end Panasonic panels. If you want journeymen electricians that truly like working together, call Josh at Peace of Mind Electric. He can beat the others for two reasons; he keeps his profit margin lower in order to keep his crew busy and he isn't paying the thousands of dollars for the advertising you hear on the radio.
