"Lazaro and his crew members, Fidel, William, and Issac, transformed our back yard from being a dirty and unpleasant hellscape where my wife and I never spent any time to being a beautiful and clean space where we can host parties, cookouts, and relax. The crew was extremely professional, organized, thoughtful, experienced, efficient, and communicative throughout the course of the project. I was quite impressed with their design and planning skills, extensive experience, and passion for their work. My wife and I own a small row house with a small back yard, which presented unique challenges to the crew: no back yard access except through neighbors’ properties. The crew handled this challenge well by being communicative and friendly with my neighbors and always cleaning up the space at the end of each working day. They always ensured that the fencing and hardscaping looked good from both sides of the property line, so that my neighbors were also happy! Another challenge was that an adjacent property is about 3 feet above grade and not pleasant to look at from our yard. Lazaro’s planning and vision for a beige brick half-wall, topped with wooden lattice flower boxes was a great finishing touch that provided a beautiful transition between the red brick paver patio and the elevated wooden fence to block the view of the adjacent property. The crew carefully planned their work from the beginning, so that there were no surprises at the end as the finishing touches were put on and the fence was erected. My wife and I are also confident that the money we spent on this work will be a great investment—not only for enjoying our new home, but also in the resale value some day in the future. Our back yard is now something to brag about! We are also confident that the work quality and materials are built to last a very long time. We are so happy. Thank you, Lazaro!"

"I have never done a project like the patio they did and I could not be happier with the process, and the work Mike and his team did. He helped my wife and I scope out the project and listened to what we wanted and how we wanted to use the space. His suggestions were thoughtful and the end product turned out just as we had envisioned. There was no pressure during the process and he took all the time we needed to answer questions. His crew worked incredibly hard every day they were here, and you could tell they took pride in their work, focused on little details I couldn’t even envision, and had fun while doing it. This definitely showed in the end product as it looks great and I am extremely happy with the quality."

"Wow! Let me start by saying I had several contractors come by to give me estimates on fixing some major concerns I’ve had in my yard for quite a while. I needed a professional who could complete everything I needed at a reasonable price. Well, Mr Julio Escobar (ET General Contractor Inc) was able to accommodate everything I needed done. He listened to everything I needed and provided excellent suggestions as to the right approach to do the job. This entailed re-sloping my backyard to direct water away from my house foundation and installing a drainage system in my backyard. My backyard was a barren wasteland that needed quite a bit of work. I had barely any grass on one side with many trees that I wanted removed in order to get more sunlight and allow grass to grow. Julio’s crew did an amazing job (cut down trees, removed all branch/log debris and grinded/ground the stumps down to the roots). His crew planted 29 Japanese Cedar trees along my fence line. My appreciation goes out to Julio Escobar for working with the nursery to get me all Japanese Cedars instead of the Leyland Cypress trees. Exactly what I wanted all along. God Bless you! He and his crew trucked in tons of river rock to lay around my pool and along the foundation in the back of the house and then laid, I forget how many, rolls of sod. These guys worked hard and in the worst heat of the summer. Lastly, but definitely not least he and his crew brought in clean topsoil and organic compost, grass seed, and fertilizer to cover my front yard (that also was a wasteland). After that he aerated the area and laid sod on the sides of my driveway so that there would be no run off when it rained. I can’t express enough how professional, courteous, and attentive Mr Escobar and his entire crew were throughout the entire job. I would definitely use them again for future projects. God Bless them for their hard work and strong work ethic!"

"Had my driveway replaced, a deck removed and a concrete pad installed for a hot tub. They were phenomenal. Very professional and experienced. The crew was hard working and friendly, and they clearly cared about the quality of their work. Paulo went the extra mile every time throughout the process. Iâ d recommend without hesitation and will use them again."

"They did a difficult job well. They replaced our old patio with new pavers, expanding it to come to both sets of steps on our deck. They installed new French drains and dried creek bed, going around or under previous drains. They extended the drains from the roof to join the drain to the road. They poisoned and removed invasive plants. Due to the lateness of the year, it is a little too early to see how well the new French drain will work longer term or removal of invasive plants, but it's good so far and it looks good! The price was good and they worked hard and quickly."

"Our experience with HD Exteriors has been outstanding since our first meeting with Graham. He did a wonderful job of taking our ideas for our backyard project and aligning them with our budget. We are having a new composite deck and 2 patios installed. The deck was just completed and his team did an incredible job. We are looking forward to seeing what his patio team does to transform our backyard into a outdoor living space. Highly recommend this company."

"From the minute Elijah arrived to give the estimate to the minute it was done to satisfaction (rain foiled the perfect patio the night it was completed so Elijah's team came back out to re-lay setting sand) the service and professionalism of Cassella Landscaping was a breath of fresh air. Not only did Elijah come to an appointment straight from a funeral - because he did not want to cancel the appointment after it was booked - but he was aware of the environment and called to see if I wanted him to don a mask before coming onto the property. Given this was in the early stages of the pandemic this was a gesture that told me from the beginning he was going to be a solid person to work with. Not only was his estimate the lowest of those obtained he was able to do so on the spot and offer multiple variants of options in the same price quote. When the work began, the crew cleaned up after themselves and were completely professional. Each night when I would get home from work, the job foreman would review the work that they had done and answer any questions I might have had. Again - a trait rarely seen anymore and MUCH APPRECIATED. Should i ever need any landscaping or hardscaping work done again I will immediately turn to Cassella Landscaping and HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to anyone looking for the same. This small business is worth your money."

"Mr. Minor (Melvin) came to our home and did an excellent job removing all of the grass from the area between our stone patio pavers, and then he proceeded to fill in those cracks with a sealant to prevent any further growth of grass & weeds in the patio area. He also applied a protective coating over the patio. He arrived on time and worked efficiently. The patio looks great now--better than new! We are definitely pleased with his work. And we would be happy to recommend him. He was very professional and congenial. Two satisfied customers, Jean & Danny Fisher Gainesville, VA"

"We are so happy with our new concrete patio. They provided a quick estimate, fair pricing, and kept us informed throughout the entire process. The team showed up on time, worked efficiently, and delivered outstanding results. Highly recommend!"
