"<p>First off, I cannot say enough good things about the SRI Construction owner, John DiMercurio.  John is without a doubt one of the most honest and hardworking contractors I've ever worked with.  Very outgoing, creative and totally customer oriented.  We originally were going to go with SRI for our renovations earlier this year and ended up cancelling due to my mother-in-law's health situation.  When her health stabilized we went back to John and signed the contract to proceed.  Unfortunately in the interim, he had signed a couple other contracts ahead of us and it affected our schedule.  However, knowing our family situation, John did a little juggling and got us scheduled much earlier than expected.  This was much appreciated and way over our expectations.  </p> <p>John is also number one in communications.  I have never worked with a more responsive contractor than John.  It didn't matter if I texted or emailed him with a question, he replied almost immediately.  Just amazing!  His responsiveness definitely lowered our stress level immensely.</p> <p>As far as price for the work done, John was very competitive with other companies.  The quality of the work was all top notch. "The company doesn't do the type of small job I was looking for."

"A contractor, not affiliated with the company, came to install the fireplace. This was never mentioned to me throughout any of the communication prior to the installation date. Mind you, the installation of the unit involed cutting a pre-exisitng wood frame mantel which the contractor did any awesome job with. However, he knew nothing about the workings of the fireplace and when he was finished, we were missing a log, the unit smelled of gas, and half of the fireplace was not working. In addition, he was at our house for 6 hours! I immediately called the company and told them about the issues we were having. I also told them I was holding the final payment until all of the bugs had been resolved. The next day, the owner of the company came to the house and spent another two hours fixing the fireplace....and the gas leak. I understand there are problems that sometimes arise during the course of installations, but throughout the whole process, not once did the owner ever apolgize for the inconvenience or offer a discount! I will not be using this company again."

They performed quality work with quality products, very professional, clean-cut, honest, efficient, fair price. We are very happy and highly recommend them."
