"Advertised as fast friendly and reliable. This service was contracted out with AHS. Tech who diagnosed the problem wa professional and repsected my property / no marks were left from.when he too the machines apart. Nothing vur issues after that. The company only ordered partial parts, then sent someone that was on the job 4 days to do the repair. Bran asked me whar was going on with the machines and wa clueless as ro why he was here. The tech did'nt have a picute added ti his service call and had tools to do the repairs and chose to use a screw driver from his car and punture holes,dents and chip.paint off of my 2 yr old washer and dryer. He called his office and rhey told him he needed a special tool to do the repair. He left without being able to do the repair and left me axious with all the sighing he ws doing . I called to report.the issue and got a.teponse from.the owner that it was cosmetic damage. still today the washer skips cycles and the company will not address."

Design For Living Contracting is a privately owned company that is run primarily by owner Benjamin Maltzman. The employees of DFLC have been working together for a number of years, and have a healthy and close relationship with the owner. DFLC does not sub-contract jobs to any contractor, for we actually avoid sub-contracting at all costs. DFLC does "sub" out a small portion of its contracts to only two other companies, one of which is an active angle's list contractor with service awards since 2010, and the other who is backed by major companies like Lowes home improvement. Both companies have worked very closely with DFLC, and have provided only quality work in association with our company. DFLC accepts all cash, check, and money order payments. Specifics on billing details are stated in contracts, and are dependent upon job size, budget and deadline.

"Do not hesitate to hire Forza for your home renovations. They did a fantastic job at 2 locations for me. A complete bathroom renovation (complete demo to studs, including new window) at one, and a complete kitchen/bathroom at the other, along with new window in each, new flooring throughout 2 bedroom apartment, new doors, molding and paint throughout. And a steel door installation through a load bearing wall. Everything done to my complete satisfaction (I was in the contracting business as a young man). John and Tracy will guide you through the renovations, offering material and paint color guidance to help achieve the best outcome. They show up every day, Monday-Friday, until the job is complete. And not a day went by where one, if not both of the two Johns (Owner/Partners) were not on site directing operations. If I wasn’t happy with something (rare), it was altered to my satisfaction. "Booking the appointment was fine the problem began after my new dishwasher was installed. The kickplate was mistakenly thrown away by the plumber. It wasn’t detected until another plumber from Garon T came to finish connecting the sink and insta-hot. He apologized and assured me that they would resolve the problem immediately. That never happened, I called repeat talking and leaving messages to Pamela. Who would apologize but never resolve the problem. Two weeks later, asked what is taking so long and to speak to someone further up the food chain. Spoke to a supervisor who explained this was the first she was hearing about it. Another week and a series of phone calls which ended in insincere apologies. At that point, I had enough contacted the manufacturer myself and received the kickplate in a few days. Then I received this text from Pam. “Hello,This is Pamela with Garon T Plumbing, Heating & AC. Hope y’all are doing great today. Just wanted to touch base to advise that I don’t yet have the arrival date for the kickplate. I apologize for the delay and will let you know as soon as I know. Thank you - have a great weekend!” I replied we already have the kick plate and after three weeks of terrible customer service the issue was resolved. It’s a shame they have such appalling, customer service. We had plan to use them for additional work, however, with customer service unable to resolve a simple problem I’m not sure if I trust them moving forward. Since posting this I have not received any response from Garon T not even an offer to finally install the kickplate."
