"The cons: Punctuality. Day 1. They called me an hour after they were supposed to be there because the Foreman had a family issue. OK, I understand. Day 2. Perfectly Sunny Day, 88 degrees. They no-called, no-showed. When I called them, they cancelled due to the weather. Then the Foreman calls me personally to tell me that they didn't get the parts in. Grrrrrrrrrrrr!!!! The pros: The job was done right the first time. It's been about 6 months with a few heavy storms and some snow, and there have been no leaks or other issues. Also, the exhaust pipe came out of the house on one of the seams, and they had trouble get the boot to look nice, but they worked until I was satisfied. I will take a punctuality issue over a leaky roof any day :-) Over all, Job Well Done!!!"

"They do the checks for free. Mostly safety checks. Making sure there's no leaks anywhere. They do really well. They are punctual and show up on time. If they say they will be there at a certain time, they are there."

"I noticed we had some water leaking around all three of the vent pipes going through our roof. I called and talked to John, who gave me a competitive quote, and we set up an appointment two days later. Eric and Jerry showed up on time and in about an hour, they replaced the boots around the vent pipes, sealed them, sealed around the chimney, and also sealed a dozen or more nail pops in the roof that they found while inspecting it. They showed before and after pictures of all the work. They were extremely nice and professional. Although I hope to never have a roof leak again, I'll certainly call Roof Repair Experts again when I do!"

"CT Builders Chimney Tech said in April they had a special running - that they would come and clean your chimney, and inspect it. Well that is just to get their foot in the door. When they got here - and I do have an older chimney - the thing is, they made it seem like it was really damaged. I should have checked around and got estimates. I am alone here and I just didn't check around and didn't ask any ones opinion. So I just got it in there. In the mean time next door, my neighbor got a whole new chimney for $2300. So I don't know. I think some of the bricks on mine were not to good and I asked them what they think. And they said: "Oh, it's pretty sturdy, but this is a life time guarantee on this chimney liner." They said it won't rust, it won't do this, it won't do that. So I went with their word. I did go on your list, now they came here and they had a B rating with the Better Business Buro. But they were prompt. They came when they said they would come and they were courteous. It's just that I, on my part, I should have gotten estimates. Maybe I could get it cheaper."
