"Finally an honest Solar company!! I went through several companies trying to get quotes for one of my properties, either they were ridiculously expensive or they didn't return my calls. "We needed a new roof for our house. Our ‘old’ roof had few leaks and several problems that required the replacement with a new one. The last rain resulted in a water leak to the bedrooms area. So, we called Landmark construction energy upgrade because they did our neighbor's roof a year ago and they gave us an estimate at that time. This time, they just updated the estimate and they were able to lower it, which was cheaper than the other estimates we got. The good feeling was much better because it’s a family business who not only give the bid but do the work. No hard sell here or having the bid from one guy but the work is with unknown others - as it was with other bids. Landmark did the job so good and very fast as well which was awesome! The workers from Landmark made sure to clean the roof and they did a quality work. The roof was a mess with lots of humps, bumps and terrible pad for the Air conditioning. They rebuilt it all, and had people who came to do specialty tasks, such as hooking up the dish, the air conditioning condenser etc.… More than that, they also fixed the gutters and made sure they are connected correctly. All in all, this project is complete and done. We are no longer have to deal with the old roof and leaks for at least for 20 years. Before we did the new roof, The office staff helped us with the Cool Roof rebate from the power company and the federal tax rebate for an Energy Star roof, both of which we were not aware. Landmark construction energy upgrade are now our roofers who did a great work and have other great contractors to supplement for special tasks and run an all-around energy efficient business. If we ever move or we have a natural disaster, we know who will work for us."

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."

"Went well. We only needed to bag up a few things inside the house. The company was very proficient at putting up and taking down tent. They also allowed us to get into our backyard. That was nice.we stayed on our property. We are using this company for pest control thru the year. They do a good job?

"They removed all the old insulation in my attic, sanitized the area, and replaced the insulation with a better green product that exceeds the R rating in my area.  They sealed all openings into my home (via doors, crawl spaces, etc.) and set traps in my home, in the attached garage/storage area, and in the attic.  This is where I believe they could do a better job. No one called or returned to check on the traps unless I called to report a catch. I still have one trap set inside my house and two in my storage area. I have no idea if the one in the attic is still set. It just seems that common courtesy would lead them to do more follow up and offer to remove the traps if no longer needed. As for the price, it seemed a bit high (I'm retired and it was a struggle) but since I was being held hostage by the rodents, it was well worth it. I would use them in the future but would try to negotiate the fee."
