"I had a mixed experience with Douglas. The curtain rods were not hung straight. No tools were used such as a stud finder or measurement tool. The wall-affixed garden hose was drilled in the wrong place and a second hole needed to be made into the side of my home. Caulking was used to fill the hole but damage was done. I recommend getting an in-person estimate from Douglas for your repairs. Fee $400 covered book shelf reinforcement, hang 4 curtain rods, hang 3 large frames, affix 2 retractable garden hoses to sides of home."

"He showed up to assess the job. We agreed on a price. He told me he was busy for a month so I waited. The day before the job he messaged me to send him more than half up front or he wasn?t coming. He never mentioned advanced payment. I said I wasn?t comfortable but would certainly pay him as agreed for the job. He told me he wasn?t coming if I didn?t send him money first. For a handyman? Leave me waiting for a month then demand payment up front before doing one minute of work? Totally unprofessional!!! Time waster!"

"I have attempted to reach out to Burns Handyman Services regarding the damage to my rental. I secured Benjamin for a job to mount televisions in my townhome, and while I was happy with the first install, he drilled a hole right into a water line, which happened to be the Riverside County Fire Department's water suppression system. Both the Owner of the property and I have made several attempts to reach out and try to resolve the issue and the damages, and we haven't gotten any calls back. This is unprofessional and downright negligent. I hope you all have insurance, because you will be left with all the damages if God forbid a water line is mistaken for a stud. Please do the right thing and call us back. This has been going on for over a month now with no RESOLVE."

"This company is a nightmare and a safety risk. The installer was not who I was promised, showed up unprepared, could not communicate, and FaceTimed his boss the entire time. He cut two huge, unnecessary holes one into a structural stud and one through a fire block, with no plan to fix it. I had to stop him from causing more damage and force him to buy fire-safe sealant after the damage was done. He fished wires into my closet because I refused to let him destroy more of my home. He stayed 8+ hours, did not cover any furniture, left drywall dust everywhere, and I had to provide my own PPE and tools just to keep him going. Mid-job, they tried to tack on extra charges I had already discussed. Their emails were sketchy no name, no signature, no company info. The patch job was so bad I will need to spend hundreds just to undo the damage. This was sloppy, dangerous, and completely unprofessional. DO NOT hire them unless you want your home destroyed."
