"I had an electrical outlet installed on my brick fireplace so I could hang my TV up. I was quoted from another company $600 and would have the outlet box exposed from the brick. I used Enoch and it done for $150. Plug looks great! I'll use Enoch anytime I need electric work done."

"Highly recommend Jason Moreno. He did an excellent job fixing my circuit breaker issues and installing a generator connection. Jason was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. His work was clean, efficient, and done right the first time. It’s obvious he takes pride in his work. I wouldn’t hesitate to call him again for any electrical needs."

"Workers showed up at 8 a.m. ( a new experience for me with contractors ) and went to work. They worked with the electrical company and had the job completed by 12:30 p.m. Very professional. I didn't get other estimates but I believe the $1,700 was a fair price for replacing the entire circuit breaker box , running the connection through the roof and out a gooseneck connection which they also installed as it should have been originally. Left the job site without any added debris."

"Mack and his team are grade A professionals. We are a young family and decided to expand our home to continue to grow in and turn into our forever house. This was a large undertaking and a huge decision we did not take lightly. The scope of the project ended up being the creation of almost a completely new home. You can imagine how many decisions and things that can go wrong on this big of a project. Mack came in at a reasonable price and finished the project on time despite the obstacles we ran into. His attention to detail, quality of work, and timeliness in response surpassed our expectations. Our friends now see our house and want to do the same thing! We've been gladly passing his information along. We highly recommend his team for any of your renovation needs and plan to hire him for any projects in the future!"

FAQs for electrical for home addition or remodel installation projects in Hempstead, TX

Because installing coax outlets involves working around existing electrical wiring and confirming proper grounding, many homeowners prefer to hire a licensed electrician. A professional completes the work safely, secures the line behind the wall, and ensures the installation meets local code, which reduces the risk of damage or future repairs.

You still need a coaxial outlet for most cable-based internet services. The modem draws its signal from a cable line that terminates at a dedicated wall jack. Once the modem is online, your Wi-Fi router can broadcast the signal throughout the home, so the outlet’s location doesn’t affect wireless performance. If an existing jack is damaged or in an inconvenient spot, an electrician can move it or install a new one to maintain a strong, reliable connection.

Coaxial cable loses signal strength the farther it runs. A 50-foot length introduces noticeable loss, and a 100-foot stretch can drop the signal by roughly 30%. A weaker signal can result in a fuzzy picture or slower internet speeds. To maintain high performance, limit cable length whenever possible, select the correct cable grade, and route it efficiently. If your layout demands an exceptionally long run, an electrician can install an inline amplifier to boost the signal and maintain picture or data quality.
