He correctly sized the gutters and downspouts before I even asked (the existing ones were undersized and underperformed and didn't look right on a big 1920's house with 2' overhangs.) Where the second story shingles projected out over the first floor siding, the downspouts exactly followed the line of the arts & crafts detailing.
